yeh, try pressing down on the stuck corner as someone pulls the lever. Failing that, it's rip the grill out and and try and reach your hand to the catch.

do you ever have anything to do with lincolndubbers. i see their post on here but they use facebook, i dont. Thinking of going to VW players on sunday if dont get to wronged sat nite! I saw their post on here but like you I'm a non-facebooker. No chance of me going to players, the missus is due to drop in 2 weeks and I think bouncing her down there in the Rado would set her off!

Is that like the twilight zone? I feel the same way... nearest C according to the map is Glasgow! I no my bro lives 10 miles away but i cant surly count him :lol: i see his Rado everyday I have this feeling too, nearest one to me in Lincoln is Nottingham/Sheffield

I know Andy Waters (AWTracksport) jacked up the rear of the bonnet on him Mk2 Golf Track car to aid the airflow through the engine bay. Not sure how good it would look but if it's function over form you want then it could be a cheap option.

I guess it would depend on the quality of the finish, but with a good install I would imagine £5000-£6000 as a base figure.
