vw corrado storm king, oh my god! I'll lucky then........did you have to pay out at all?
-
Dogs are good but need feeding & walking which in my book is a pain in ass. Shotgun I like but will more than likely end up with a prison sentence. I thought about staking the car out and beating the living daylights out of them but I have to live with these people remember.

Anyone else had the same issue?

Ok, I've had my front bumper smoothed twice and it's only lasted a week each time before some twat has bump parked my car and taken the paint off the top of the bumper!!!! :( :( Ok, it's park in the street so there's not that much I can do, or is there? Is there anything that will protect my paint work from twats who can't park or don't care?

Even though it may make me feel like I've gone the wrong way with supercharging, I'd still like to see what all this turbo talk is about. When you got it all sorted I really like to see how different it is. Thanks for the offer. How much were your AP racing brakes, I've been offer tar-ox 6 pots for £850. -

cheesewire, Ok, so it sound like 300ish is a good figure for what I have now. Trying to get more out of it sounds like it's not going to be worth the money as turboing will give me a lot more. I'd love to have a ride in your car one day to see the difference? I'll enjoy it for now and as I have a schimmel log it's perfect for turbo conversion at some point. -

CorradoVR6-n.o.s, Seems crazy to remove the FMIC after all the work of getting in there. At least Vince said it would be reliable with the FMIC. The noise they make is a little loud but I'm not too bother......at the moment. It'll be VERY interesting to see what you turbo guys get when your done. I'll be watching. Here's a question for everyone. Has there been any examples of twin charging. I know VW are doing it with some of their smaller engines to increase torque and BHP. -

cheesewire, The FMIC is mounted very low and only has air coming in from the lower grille. This will be restricting the air to the intercooler but I don't want to cut any holes in the bumper. What do you mean by SRI? I have looked at the chargecooler but it is VERY expensive. One for the future maybe. I also think my exhaust needs changing as it's the original G60 set-up, that might give me a few more horses. Is there anything else I should be look into? -

CorradoVR6-n.o.s, I have heard that the VF chargers are good for 20psi, how on earth do you get that? Do you know of anyone who has got 350BHP from a VF charger? I'm not unhappy but for the set-up I would have liked more. I can see why you went turbo. Has anyone put both on before? -

herisites, To be honest stage 2 will give you similar figures it's just your temperatures you'll need to manage. Water injection is a good way to go. One other thing is the noise, it's bloody noise at idle. You should hear one first cos it could drive you nuts. I'm not too bother as I don't use my car that much. -

CorradoVR6-n.o.s, My FMIC is smaller and the pipe work is 2.5inch/63mm and minimal. Just seems crazy I'm losing 3 psi! That's nearly 25%, if I could hold the psi it would easily make 350BHP. -

_leon_, In answer to your questions you need to change the front cross member for the front engine mount. The rear ones are the same. The engine fits in easily there's loads of room at the back for a turbo etc but it is tight at the front. Not sure if you'll get away with the early bonnet if you use the standard inlet manifold. My insurance has gone up by about £150, which isn't bad for a car that's got an extra 100+ BHP. The engine came with down pipe and engine loom. I don't know too much about the interior loom changes as I switch the whole dash from grey to black at the same time I too loved my G60 but the finesse had gone completely as it was tuned to the max! I wanted a smooth power delivery and I knew the VR6 was a great engine to do that. The VR6 is a lazy engine but supercharged it's fantastic and then theres the sound! -

9psi at the TB, which is shite I think. My FMIC is small and I'm still losing 3 psi. How did you get 11 psi? -

Finally I've got time to post my results from the mapping at Stealth. Generally happy with the out come but did expect a little more from the set-up that I have. The set-up is 2.8 OBD2, stage 3 VF-engineering supercharger with FMIC and schimmel short inatke. This is the result BHP 296.5 @ 6241 Torque 253.2 @ 6068 Check out the video on You Tube The power is delivered VERY smoothly, check out the graphs. -
