  1. If it pushes 330BHP, I'll be well happy. Is 9:1 the right compression? I know you're the right man to ask.
  2. As it's the start of a new year and the C is in need of a little TLC I thought I'd upgrade a few bits to make sure I get that 300+BHP out of my stage 3 vf-engineering charger. Here's what I'm thinking of buying, is there anything else I should be thinking of? SP Spark Plug Wires VR6 Short Runner Intake - $135.00 SP 263 VR6 Cams - $375.00 Steel gasket and reusable spacer to lower compression to 9:1 - 12v - $195.00 (Is this the right compression?) 13R oil cooler - £60 Cheers
  3. Thanks for the photo, that's nice and simple. Ordered all the bits, so hopefully have them install very soon.
  4. How do you fit the resistors? I haven't a clue.
  5. Hi, did you fit the blubs and resistors. If so, is it easy to fit the resistors? Where do they go etc?
  6. Oh my god, i've not seen this car before. This is an amzaing C, everything is stop on, nice work. Do like the ABT side skirts, where can you buy them from?
  7. Thanks for showing me your green blubs fitted, doesn't look great but as you said at least they are more orange. I really appreciate your posting your result, looks like I'm off you get some green blubs. Which guy on ebay did you use?
  8. Brave move, please post what happens. I'm standing by to buy mine.
  9. Hi, I'm looking into getting a gas strut to lift the bonnet does anyone know which ones are the best and where to get them from? Cheers
  10. ok, so do the green blubs really work? Has anyone got this set-up with their all red tailights?
  11. Thanks guys, they're painted so it's green bulbs. where can I get them from Halfords?
  12. Hi, I've purchased a nice new set of all red rear lights and would like to know what blubs I need so my indicators are orange? Thanks
  13. The block is standard but it's a stage 3 set-up and I have a schimmel short intake also. Makes for a smoother delivery. Very happy with teh results though. :D :D
  14. I have a supercharged 2.8 in my C, it's smooth as just check the dyno. 296.5 BHP
  15. Definitely has to be a dish, wish I had the money for so proper wheels but I think these work well.
  16. Not too well at the moment, battery keeps going flat. Already changed the battery so it's now time to slowly replace those replays etc!!!! Have some plans to get the C looks sweet over the winter, looking forward to next season.
  17. Looking sweet mate, car looks pretty much finished. Apart form the engine what you got planned for next year?
  18. i'm thinik about the schimmel 263 cams also. Have you noticed much difference in the low rev range, I imagine they give you that bit more torque low down. Am I right? Nice to see a supercharged VR6 making over 330bhp, nice work.
  19. about 15 gallon IIRC... dunno what that is in ltrs though.. £6-70 in real terms.. ;) There's no way the G60 tank whole £60-£70 worth of fuel. £45 is about the max.
  20. 61.5MPG Out of a superchargered VR6. Ok, so the MFA doesn't know about the large injectors so you have to take off 40%. Which means it really was 36.9, NOT BAD HEY :D
  21. One very sweet raddo, lovin the exterior and interior combo. Did you have the dash trim too? looks like it.
  22. It's any Lupo using the Aero Style wipers (early ones didn't) Late MK1 TT wipers are also worth a look altho more expensive they work even better Never hear about the TT wiper before, do they look any different to the lupo ones?
  23. I have a really good guide on my site with part number etc, check it out http://www.torquevw.com/how_to_guides/c ... pers.shtml
  24. Just over £600 for a Supercharged 2.8 VR6 with 300BHP, park in the street.
