  3. Hi, Has anyone experienced koni coilover shocks feeling like the dampers have gone. I've had mine for 4 years and last week the car started feeling odd. Do I have to buy a new set or can I just get the shock/dampers fixed?
  4. Here's a quick photo of my car at GTI Spring Festival. I'll post some more when I get a chance.
  5. I converted my 1991 G60 to a VR6 earlier this year. Putting VR6 in a Corrado is pretty easy, there where a few bits which I needed to change. Here's a list of the major parts require Engine/ Gearbox Engine loom with fan relay Key reader around barrel Transponder box with loom to Key reader and OBD2 port (this will change if OBD1) Corrado front cross member from VR6 Corrado Airbox and 4 pin air mass meter There were a few other bits and piece need along the way too but can't remember. The following items I didn't bother with as I was not changing the hubs etc NO DRIVESHAFTS NO HUBS/DISCS/ NO REAR SUBFRAME NO POWER STEERING RACK Hope this helps.
  6. craziscot, 1K!!!!!!!! you've got to be joking.......I'd prefer a Tar.ox set-up for that price. I'm thinking £450 for brembos. I'll check out ebay, you never know what's on there.
  7. craziscot, Yep 4 stud on a VR, wasn't always a VR you see, it use to be a G60. It's the Seat Leon Brembo's I'm looking for. Any idea how much? _leon_, Thanks for the PM How's you conversion planning going?
  8. I'm looking for either Brembo 4pots or Tar-ox 6 pots for a 4 stud fitment, does anyone know the best place to buy these or have some laying around they want to sell?
  9. Dent master can usual get most dents out.....
  10. Had the same issue getting on the rollers. Removed the number plate to make sure it didn't end up in bits and failing the MOT. Passed but need to sort the brakes out ASAP.
  11. Car is going to bodyshop today for a quote to fix the damage. We'll have to see if he'll pay up!
  12. KempywantsaCorrado, They're pretty much the same. the main thing to make sure you remove is the screw behind the speaker grille.
  13. KempywantsaCorrado, look here for a door card removal guide
  14. jonnyboyo, I have a photo of the offending car, but no proof. I've spoken to the owner who has agreed to speak again once I know how much it is to repair. He's not accepting blame though, very odd, why even won't to speak again!!!!!!! He's thinking it won't cost much as it nothing a bit of touch up paint would fix. I THINK NOT! We'll have to see what happens.
  15. This is my worst nightmare. Really sad for you mate. Find another C and start agin, just make everything better. What alarms did you have on the car?
  16. joebloggsVR69, yep, I'm still a couple of roads away. I might have to look into a garage but I think it's more venerable out of sight. Once some thieving git has broken into the garage they can do what they like without anyone knowing!
  17. I FUCKING can't believe it!!!!!!!!! Some twat has parked into my car and ramed their exhaust into my nice smooth bumper which isn't that nice any more! :x :x I've left him/she a note. there must be something I can do about it!
