C. Will Corrado G60 2

_leon_, The conversion hasn't cost too much but I say around £3000ish (I don't want to add it all up really). Here's a list of the major parts require Engine/ Gearbox Engine loom with fan relay Key reader around barrel Transponder box with loom to Key reader and OBD2 port Corrado front cross member from VR6 Corrado Airbox and 4 pin air mass meter There were a few other bits and piece need along the way too but can't remember. The following items I didn't bother with as I was not changing the hubs etc NO DRIVESHAFTS NO HUBS/DISCS/ NO REAR SUBFRAME NO POWER STEERING RACK Also I didn't change the bonnet to a power bulge version as I was going to be using schimmel short intake and wanted to retain the original look of the car. The power deliver is VERY different to a G60 but it's so much quicker!!! :shock: If it's something your considering doing I'm happy to talk to you indepth about the install and any problems I had along the way.

That's some miles you've clocked up there, I thought you were supercharging it or was it bored out? What engine are you going for when the time comes. The VR is an absolute monster, the sound is awsome and the power is immense! It's being mapped on Monday and I'm hoping for 300+BHP.

Bally, I'm get some new photos up very soon, it's just so dam dark all the time! What's the score with your engine these days? Have you seen I've gone to the dark side and have a supercharged VR now?

Bally, Having the front bumper sorted after having some idiot reverse into at the lights. I might have the bonnet sorted at the same time if the quote is ok. Looking pretty rude now with the black centres. How's things with you C? joebloggsVR69, Thanks for the tip, they're great guys down there and the cars that are in the garage are mental. I've seen a Ford GT, lambos and loads of American muscle cars.

Thought is was about time i started a gallery of my car. Going to be posting up a number of photos over the next few days. Here's one to start with, a photo of the car being dropped off at the paint shop this morning. All I can say is there's some awesome cars in there (The C isn't looking out of place though).

I've seen this car in the flesh it looks sweet and so fat on those rims. Nice choice mate, but it's still a stettling down car if you ask me. Ha ha. Get yourself back in a Corrado, you know it's where you belong! Oh and thanks for all the work on creating my monster C!

Not sure what size pulley but it's dam small!!! I have 11psi but then the car hasn't been mapped yet.

I'm looking for some front brakes to upgrade to for around £400. I've had a look through the site and have seen brembo brakes for£745 ish but I can get Tar-ox brakes for a very similar price. Can anyone suggest any for around 400ish that are worth buying? cheers

I'm feeling a little behind here but then again after driving my C I'm very happy with it. I know what you mean about the noise but my G60 had it's noises too. Mine is going to be mapped on the 29 and hoping for that magic 300+bhp. Fingersd crossed.

CorradoVR6-n.o.s, Why change so quicly after all the hard work with the Supercharger? I the turbo really that go!!!!!

JBOB, These kit must have come a long way since I last looked at them. Lots of people said they just don't give the same ride as a good coilover kit. If they do ride as well, I WANT THEM NOW!!...............if you don't mind saying how much did you pay or how much is a set? Also how big are the gas tanks? Really likin your mate, nice work.

I have a late facia and control knobs, if your interested.

JBOB, WOW, your air ride looks amazing. Always thought about doing it but VERY worry about handling. Is it as good as your coilovers? Also can you adjust the height on the move? (just thinking about all the speed bumps round my way) Cheers

Crasher, Yep, it's seems like there is no sign from the ECU. The diagnostic tool is available, but didn't show anything. I had replaced the G60 pump with a VR6 pump both as the G60 one failed about 8 month ago.

Hi,,can anyone help me get my VR6 running? I've gone for a 2.8 VR6 (coil pack) conversion and have used the donor car loom. My problem is the car is turning over but the fuel pump is not coming on. Can anyone please help?

It's finally in with a few bits to sort out. Finger crossed for 300BHP. :shock:
