I had the same thing on mine when i bought it but after running it for a little while it stopped. I think the guy who had it before me left it standing alot ie... moisture build up

Just bought some new all red hella rear clusters but have no idea how to fit them. Is it just a case of plug and play or is there other things that have to be done first?

Its on the list, along with everything else!

Can you just bolt this straight on or are there other mods that you will have to do?

Any idea what sort of gain you'd be looking at after fitting?

Just wondering which one is available for my VR and which produces the best results.

I can fully recomend jetex, Like you said just noticible on tickover, and nice when accelerating hard but quite enough around town. Also, the garage that fitted mine said they'd never seen a stainless system that fitted as well. Bought from Demon Tweeks from for £300, came in 7 days!.................Bargin!

Took the K& N off and just so happens i'd put part that the ECU joins onto had been put on th wrong way round! (by me i might add........ ) Put it back on the right way round and hey presto it works, still agree with Dr Mat though, no improvement in performance, abit nosier but that's it, better than a drop i suppose! Doh

Mine fell off! Had to use two people to prise the disc out of the middle using a couple of screwdrivers then screw it back into the seat and pop the cap back on. Works nicely now though

I just fitted a k&n cone to my VR and it definitley decreased performance, too much air getting into the engine and not enough fuel, if i wanted to spend £500 on a download for the ECU then it sort it out but i don't have that sort of money! Cheaper to take it out and get the panel filter fitted inside the original box........ i've been told that that will be better? When i fitted it, i noticed that someone had already applied the swiss cheese effect to the bottom of my box! more large hole than swiss cheese to be honest!

Justs had my Jetex system fitted, sounds lovely, not too loud at all just a nice pur!

The cheapest quote i've found for magnex is £314 from motorsportworld. Thats including vat and delivery.

Considering the raceland 6 branch, not a mechanic though so wondering what time scale it is to fit it as my lovely garage charges £35 per hour!

whats the best way to take the badges off the car before you spray them? Both my corrado and VR6 badge on the back have seen better days and are in need of a new lease of life

how much are your kits dave? my passenger handle is well stiff and i don't trust my pssengers not to rip it off!

i've had alloys refurbed before on my clubman and they look so much better, £40 a wheel which is a damn sight cheaper than they cost new. The guy did an amazing job too. Thinking about getting my speedlines done......along with the other 50 things on the list!!

How do you get the plastic bit off in the first place? i was looking at mine today and they seemed like they were attached fairly well
