Just discovered Eelke Kleijns 'Outside the Box' podcasts on itunes, they're really good if you're into a "blend of only the finest in electronic dance music" Free tunes, how can you go wrong? http://itunes.apple.com/podcast/outside ... d262807168 Good mixes to drive to anyway :) Enjoy

So got the car back finally and no noises as yet  Had the inner CVs done too so hope fully that'll be the end if it...............fingers crossed
-
Nice one, i get it back next week so looking forward to a nice 'quiet' drive :D

So just heard back from my mechanic that it's the gearbox mounts are shot so it's moving around when driving. He's replacing them and hope fully that'll sort the problem. Fingers crossed................
-
I want it to! i suppose it's up to someone to organise it.............. If we get final numbers that would be helpful then we can get in touch with him and see what the price will be
-
That's brilliant, finally! Anyone else wanting these so we can get a good price on them?
-
You'll have to let me know how you get on with it........... :D
-
I've got this very same problem :( Was happening periodically before but has just got lots louder and you can feel the vibrations through the floor when you're driving. Just wondering if it's doing damage driving it like this as i can't get to a garage for a while due to work commitments. Cheers Owen

Yeah, visiting my brother who lives just outside whistler.......... Cat skiing in the back country, can't beat it!
-
It's ridiculous isn't it, what's worse is that they want £22500 for it :cuckoo:

So i need to replace the glass on both of my fog lights, one has a piece that's fallen out completely :gag: and the other is cracked so on it's way to being like the first. I have a mate who works for VW Audi spares and he tells me that i have to buy the whole unit, light and all as they don't sell just the glass.......... This sounds daft, spending around £90 each for the units when all i need is the glass? I'm not saying he's wrong but does anybody else know either where i can get cheaper ones or what's the best alternative? I just looked on Venom and they've got the crystal ones including the indicators for £174, don't really want to have to spend that but if there are no other alternatives i may as well go with nice shinny ones! Cheers Owen

I just wish they had ads this hard hitting in this country, it'll never stop them all but the few it does can only do good.

Chuckle chuckle :salute:

Not sure to be honest, they were the standard ones supplied by tuningwerks. Could probably find out unless someone on here knows????
-
So................ I feel like i have a new corrado! I would recommend these to anyone who wants a real compromise between handling and comfort. It handles so so well but feels like a different car over the bumps    Just got to get some new wheels now to fill the arches a bit better, these 17s are to big......... i see some saving coming on!
-
They're 1s, all i could stretch my finances to unfortunately. Still, i bet they're going to be brill. :D
-
Got these other day and they're being fitted in the next couple of days
-
Just bought some KW V1s from tuningwerks at a very reasonable price! Will be fitting them in the next week so hopefully the ride will improve from what it's like now........ Cheap Ebay shocks bought by the previous owner, shocking ride and no oil left in them! Looking forward to having a more involving drive rather than just reading the road for every ripple in the tarmac that's going to shake me to bits :brickwall:

I have the same problem with mine so i need two people when ever i need to open the bonnet, one to pull the catch and one to push down on where the spring sits under the front end (about a foot in from the passenger wing) Hope this helps :)

Good to hear! Hopefully it will stay that way................ :D
