Other than Kinghorn there is Castlepark in Ellon and Kirkton Auto Body in Banchory seem to get good reviews. Other than mine I know of 4 other Corrado's owners in Aberdeen and have seen a few other kicking about. I didnt see you on Friday night did on Greenwell road?

Thats kind of the way Im thinking. Theres a full set on ebay but they have the Lancia PCD and centrebore though. I have found some 8x17in ProRace1.2's though but then again I know Kev has issues trying to get spares wheels from TeamDyn. Fucking pothole bastard cunt of a thing!!! Bloody council are washing there hands of it as well.

Thing is the 7.5in seem to come up more often and would mean the tyres are less stretched. They should weight slightly less and I can get them with an offset so that they will sit the same as the 8in wheels so visually there will be no difference. They are going to charge me £385 for the two including VAT and delivery. Just shows you how much material costs and VAT has affected the price as I paid £740 for all 4 8in wheels last year, thats almost a 30% increase. Oh and I need to do somethign quick as I have a trackday a week on Sat.

Evening, another C in Aberdeen. Where are they all hiding as I never see one?

Bit of a dilema now. Buckled my wheel on Friday night and had it looked at today. They got the flat spot out but when I put the wheel on the car tonight and spun it is buckled on both axis so the wheels goosed. I cant get another 8in but I can get 2 x 7.5in wheels. Wheel prices have gone up as well, £240 for one 8in wheel!!! Thing is the wheels make the car, I would be gutted to put anything else on it but should I wait and get a 8in or go with two 7.5in? That or just run some TT wheels that are easy to get hold of for now and wait for another 8in.

25-30mpg average. 4wd wont help if your tyres are shit or your on ice.

Very few if any new bikes run carbs, its all FI now. DBW throttles would scare me on a bike if Im honest. I really like the idea of ABS on a bike but I think with traction control its taking something away from learning to ride properly. I did gulp at the cost of the Atom but then look at the cost of the cars its faster than.

The bike has traction control but I dont think they have an anti-flip system. If they did I would be straight out there and buying one and giving it the beans all the time.

Folks, looking for a set of alloys with good caliper clearance. Ideally 8x17in et35 or 30. Must have good caliper clearance and not weigh a ton.

Compomotive MO 8x17 Classic 5-Spoke Ltd Edition

Word of warning here. I buckled one of my TH2's on Friday and it looks like it cannot be put back to perfect condition. I phoned Compomotive about a replacement and my thoughts were confirmed. I have to wait for a certain number of wheels in my size to be ordered before a single wheel can be made so Im in limbo. It could be 2 weeks it could be 2 years!!! -
Or Bruce Parry's Artic. Decent start to the series. The Atom was amazing but tonight made me realise i miss a couple of things. Bikes and my german shepherd.

Ah, didnt realise your going turbo. Is the engine a built bottom end or are you using a spacer gasket? Turbo not on the wrong way round? -
I can report that in the 10miles test I had last night these tyres felt very good. Right up until I found a bloody massive pothole :mad2: . Alloy bent but tyre appears ok. Going to get 4 all round I think. Very Contisportcontact like in tread.

Mmm, will look and see if anyone doing the same. Ive got a few keys lying about but there all VAG.

The definitive "What Air Filter?" discussion thread
coullstar replied to CazzaVR's topic in Engine Bay
So your saying that work you have done indicates that if the filter is properly shielded from the heat it should work ok? So the likes of the BMC is obviously better than an open cone filter but if the air its inducting is still from the warm bay its defeating the purpose of using it. I think thats the accepted idea but its good that someone has actually proof. -

Im going to the Goodwood FOS this year and havent been before. Im getting the full weekend ticket but is it worth going Fri, Sat & Sunday? Is there enough to see to warrant the 3 days? Also any tips on where to stay for easier access? My brother stays in Poole but Im thinking thats a tad too far to be travelling to and from everyday. It is a mare to get in and out the event?
