  1. I tried to bid at the end but my phone froze. Never mind, someone got them for a good price.
  2. I'm thinking of going to this fir the first time. I will probably only be able to make it for one day though. Those of you who have been before, what day would you say is better?
  3. I like the update, think it looks good. Seems to take forever to change screens, i.e I clicked on the link to this topic and it took about 3 mins to show it.

  5. I'm in Motherwell and would be interested.
  6. Spotted a Black Corrado in Cambuslang today, you were parked up with the bonnet open and a battery pack on the car. I was going to come over but when I got out of work you were gone.
  7. Taxed my C on Monday, took it off the axel stands and let it see daylight for the first time since August (been doing a full detail on the underside, suprised that I didn't have any body rust, only a small bit on the front rad support now sorted though), oh how I've missed the VR6 engine, love that noise. The 1.2 i've been driving to work just doesn't come close.

    new/old shape

The wings and bonnet are different between the early and late corrados. The later wings have a slightly bigger arch. The crease that runs up the middle of the bonnet will be indented on an early bonnet but raised on a late. When replacing panels they will not line up properly if putting the wrong one on i.e late on an early. The interior also has differences on the dash, the heater controls on an early corrado are a sliding bar whereas on a late they are circular. The switches also have a different design. Check this link, there is a word document listing the differences http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?3507-Spot-the-difference-early-and-late-C-s

  10. This forum runs slow for me as well, and has only done since the update. I am a member of other forums and they all run fine. Have tried it on internet explorer and firefox, at home and at work. At home I have 50meg Virgin media, so theres no lack of speed.
  11. Welcome to the forum. A corrado meet would be great, although mine is a little poorly just now.

    VR6 trivia

The first one is just the plastic cover. The second has no cover on it and i'm sure its a euro speck that has the corner cut away.
  13. There made by Antera, i have no idea what model they are.

    Engine support

I have taken my C of the road for the winter and planning on doing a underside restoration. I have bought a new cross member and engine carrier and was wondering if it is ok to support the engine underneath with wooden blocks when removing these parts. I dont have a engine crane/support.
  18. When you say a mop do you mean a machine polish? Do you have any pics of it? You may need to try a bit of wet and dry on it. A machine polish with a cutting pad and a product such as menzerna or 3m with a high cut may do it but it really depends on how deep the scratch is, can you catch you nail on it?
  19. 1- I lived in South Africa for 6 years when I was a child 2- I'm an accountant   3- And I am also a boxer
  20. As above, no magazine soley for the Corrado. Magazines such as GOlf+ and Performance VW will feature VAG cars so the odd corrado will appear in them. If you want to read up on Corrado builds then I would suggest looking through the members section on this site, some very nice examples in their and a lot of work has gone in to them.
  21. I haven't taken any new pics in ages but these are probably my favourite one's of my C
