When i removed my cat i replaced it with a jetex 2.5" straight through silencer and it worked a treat.

I changed the one on the front to a volksport one and i can`t fault it.

It sounds to me like the ignition timing is to far advanced so you could try retarding it a little and if not then it might be worth checking the knock sensor. Jason -
Ive got one on me g60 and it seems to work well and you can up the fuel pressure when need be. Jason

I`ve used the greenstuff pads and i think they work really well and they give off very little brake dust so the alloys stay cleaner for longer. Jason

Good thanks darren.It would be nice to know the sort of power the engine is producing, even tho there is probably quite a loss in the drive train.
