qpeng uses MBE management i think you will find, seems to be the cheapest way to do a 1.8t, with ecu`s you need to decide where you are going to get it mapped and what they like to use, creme de la creme is motec m400 from kieth murray at dialynx, but then you are talking about stab in the dark figure of 4K plus for your ecu + wiring + mapping,, big power costs big money whichever way you look at it, allot of people are successfully running dta exp 48 ecu`s , stealth racing can help you there,, if you are after 300 bhp you will be wanting a custom map rather than simply a bsae map to get you started, what engine / turbo mods are you planning?

The "what I did to my Corrado today" thread...

check the resistance on the end of teh wiring loom to the injectors should be about 3-4 ohms, if the injectors are ok, ruling out the harness as you have replaced that already,, -
its teh difference between the tip of the lobe and teh base circle,, and the diameter of teh base circle, so you measure it one way top to bottom and then measure it side to side,, http://www.pipercams.co.uk/NewPiperWeb/ ... dvice.html

thing is with abs you cant use silicone fluid so its regular fl;uid changes for us,, mind you its a good idea to do it once a year anyhow at least it makes you have a proper look at teh braking system, state of metal hoses etc,,
-
if you still want heat protection too get a sheet of powermat from rallydesign.co.uk
-
i do belive you have to change teh dot 5.1 more frequently though so i best keep an eye on that,,
-
ebc brakes are rubbish,, i had problems with greenstuff pads not biting and tehn fading,, so i complained, they then sent me a full set of redstuff FOC, which was nice,, but these wore out a set of brand new front disks in the time it took to wear out half a set of the pads, now back on std pads and dot 5.1 fluid,, no brake fade around the nurburgring,,,,, did 20 laps at teh wekend and all is well,, think people often overlook upgrading the fluid,, made more difference to mine than any brake pads!!

contacted dubcharged who posted up this original thread,, http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42570 well this gearknob arrived and it is absolutley awesome, its counterbored a bit deeper than the original gearknob so shortens the stick slightly, and its quite weighty and has improved the shift no end, kinda like fitting a weighted shift rod on a mk2 or mk1 with an o2o gearbox,, in car pics to follow very shortly. looks brilliant in the car too and is a nice size so fits in the hand very well indeed, lovley engineered piece of kit..

nope as the throttle body is on the wrong side,, sorry mate exhaust manifold may fit though,,
