  1. I do indeed, first one poor visuals but good idea of sound in the cabin. Second video, not the best audio (built in gopro mic) but better video. HTH
  2. Nope it covers up to 95. There are differences in vehicles mid 92-95 but they're still in this grouping for non engine code matches. Check the mot emissions manual on the gov.uk site.
  3. My manifold and decat is a dub power one... Not sure if they're still trading but they're good! Regarding mot - if yours is before 95, the emissions are graded by engine using a database. If the exact engine code is not on their database (so originally corrado and abv for the vr) then it's treated as a non-cat vehicle and tested accordingly. Therefore a 24v corrado converted can pass the mot legally with no cats. Hth
  4. You can use the old 12v or new cooling parts. The aux pump from a 24v has the new rounded plug iirc so you'd need to adapt it, otherwise it's the same. It doesn't really matter which way they flow, the cooler is symmetrical inside. I just hooked mine up in the most convenient way and my temps are really low all the time. Hth
  5. I have one from when mine has all the wrong sensors and made 230hp at the fly....
  6. With huge regret, I need to pass my beloved car onto a new owner. Vehicle Mileage: 184,216 Engine Mileage: ~25,000 (Seller of engine claimed 10k, no reason to disbelieve this, 15k covered since) Engine MKV R32 3.2l 24v VR6 BMC CDA intake Poly front engine mount Dubpower 6 branch stainless manifold Magnex (standard VR6) exhaust New MAF, Lambdas, many spare coilpacks New Radiator New ECU New throttle pedal Suspension & Drivetrain 288mm Brake upgrade KW V2 Suspension Upgraded control arm bushes (R32 golf) All subframe & drivetrain components replaced over the last 3 years, including wheel bearings (driver's side still outstanding but fine), brake discs/pads, suspension bushes, rear beam bushes and complete brake overhaul, handbrake cables. Body & Exterior Recent restoration work on boot, number plate surround, both wings, sills Suffered damage from negligent driver striking passenger door. All repaired to a good standard through ins(pictures available) Inpro lights all round, not to everyone's taste and unfortunately do not have any standard parts (bought from previous owner this way) Upgraded headlight loom BBS RC 17" wrapped in Toyo T1Rs (genuine wheels) Interior Momo steering wheel JVC stereo Used as a daily by me for a number of years with the new engine, and 5 years in total. Had a lot of love and care over the years, with all work completed to a high standard by myself. 6 months Tax and will have a valid MOT for sale (nearly due) Negatives Windscreen cracked, don't have the insurance extra cover to replace it :( (yours might have cover though!) Clunk from driver's side, not sure of cause yet Engine is not 100%, ideally requires a going over by the specialist due to torque flat spots. Recently thrown a pedal fault and caused the engine to drop to idle with no response. Looks like a wiring fault but I am attempting to fix this Most importantly, this vehicle just needs more care and attention than I am able to deliver any more. It needs to go to a new home who is prepared to invest a bit more into it to make it perfect. Reason for the sale is due to a career change I now need to economise, if there was another way, I'd be keeping this car. It will put a huge smile on your face (as corrados do) and is a fantastically urgent car. £3500 ovno swaps considered for something sensible and diesel with cash my way Recent pictures to follow, build thread below http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=43612
  7. my canbus adaptor was from can m8, works like a charm too, no lag whatsoever
  8. Looks like it's time i hang up the towel and let another person cherish VRG as I have :( Car is for sale guys, advert link: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=88050
  9. Wow that's a long list. Looking at them you can understand the majority of the error codes, but that doesn't explain why mine has only 6 and yours has all those! Done by swict too.
  10. It should be cleared if you fitted the relay? I believe throwing an evap fault will mean you're not getting long term adaption! My setup doesn't have that fault, I used a high wattage resistor as a dummy load.
  11. swift, I thought that initially then realised the pipe will fit. Just needs a little bit of encouragement. No damage either before you ask!
  12. Think I'll be asking Vince nicely to plug it in and give it a thorough check
  13. Yeah mines swict wiring, although it's already given me problems with certain things being wrong.... Since then Mark's said he won't send looms out, only fit them with the vehicle on site...
  14. Slowing down or just at that rev Sam? Mine is at 2k when slowing down it starts to hiccup
  15. Yeah I did the same. Bought a cap from the stealers iirc. I then tapped a thread inside the old cap connector and fitted a long bolt. You can then just smack the bolt a few times and the old cap will come out. Try to get the new one in square.
  16. My sai is fed through a dummy load. As kev said, this needs to be done and the n80 needs to be present. Otherwise the ecu won't be long term adaptive and therefore not as good as it could be. James
  17. Yeah that's the same I heard when I came to do mine, so I just didn't risk it. Solutions are to fit an aftermarket fpr, or get the r32 fuel filter with inbuilt regulator. I've done the latter, and mounted the filter in my engine bay for now.
  18. Mine is a standard R32 part fitted in the old VR6 place....Had no problems on that side.
  19. It could be an oversensitive throttle, but it's weird how it'll just stop when the revs fall below around 1800. I have a vibratechnics front mount but the rest are standard. It does it at any temperature too. One big giveaway is on occasion I've reset the ecu faults which resets the learned values? I think! It has been very mild then until it's been driven a bit then comes back like before
  20. It's the rate at which the stutter occurs that puts me off any mechanical oscillations, it's not road speed dependent just rpm, and at a rate which doesn't vary with speed. Feels like I was going on and off power with around a half second rate. I could be completely wrong though, but that's what it seems to me, like the fuel cut off on overrun is not coming back on properly....
  21. Thanks kev! Still doing it mate :( at a bit of a loss really, lambdas are working as expected. Vince even took a data log from me and said all appeared completely fine. All I can think is a tiny vacuum leak somewhere...
  22. Rolled out on Friday. Headlights are finally sorted too, no more candlelight!
  23. Thanks a lot guys, it's now having the final touch ups and polishing. My friend doing the work is a perfectionist :) 022 906 032 CD 022 906 032 CE 022 906 032 JR 022 906 032 KG 022 906 032 KH All worked on a BUB. Also have the ECU pinouts and wiring diagrams specifically for this engine, Mark wired my Lambdas incorrectly using the wrong diagrams (older engine I think)
  24. Been many months since the purple turd received any attention, but this new job is a big one... So after ensuring the car is mechanically sound, it turns to making the bodywork sound. My passenger front wing is beyond saving, so I've been on the prowl for a replacement. The drivers side also needs a paint repair to prevent it getting worse. I finally sorted a wing last month, and so I've been making arrangements to have a friend tend to its bodywork. Boy did he not know what he was in for..... As well as the wing needing painting, we had a proper walkaround of the car and laid out a budget. Looks like I can cover the majority of the corroded areas within what I can afford. Getting the work done by a fellow Corrado owner and good friend, I knew it was in good hands. So the pictures (courtesy of Ryan): More pictures to follow
