Gotta agree here, I had to get a replacement front number plate and got from halfords, there low go is very low key and is also whiteish colour. bout 25/30 a pair, quite expensive,ebay cheap, depends how much/quickly u need them though.

My first ever car, an astra gte mk1 had those washers on it, worked when u sprayed the washer for the windows, is it the same on the C?

:lol: about as useful as the Elephant bird I spoke to today. I asked her what the % refund was when I quit after x amount of time... 'I cant answer that' WTF?? useless bint :roll: Then I asked her about running a 2nd car.. also couldnt help there! 'you'll need to speak to the other department' Next I argued about whether I could use my own repairer 'No you cant...' - and so what if I dont like the quality of the repairs? She said (in not so blunt terms :) ) tough sh1t. And so on, for another 10minutes She dint answer them questions, cause u wouldent have liked the answers. From my 1 Months ownership of my second car, the beast that was the jetta gx cost close to 400quid to insure for a year, canceling the policy after a month entitled me to a full 70quid refund, Running a second car on same policy is just not possible, or not from all the places i tried. The corrado cant be insured as a classic. yet. My insurance company would not even tell me if i was entitled to salvage rights if my car was wrote off and no i cant pick where it would be repaired. Although the amount of Corrado's i have seen written off, for really quite minor things is amazeing, too be honest anythin more then a small minor crash and ya car is gonna be totaled. Its quite sad really. Have just witnessed another green storm being bought for next to nothing, i wont say how much the last one sold for after the theft repairs were fixed. I'm insured third party at min, although amount im spending on car, wondering if i can get an agreed value policy next renewel. I dont see any bonus from fully comp unless your a crap driver.

While at local BP other day, pulled at different pump to one i usually use went to load in some ultimate and the pump has got fatter. i mean the metal bit of it. it wouldent push the little petrol vapour cap bit down, it was too fat.does that matter? Spose the force of the petrol going in would open the cap. But in a state of shock, i put it back and put some standard unleaded in, with this pump being the usual size. Since useing the unleaded (frst time since ownin the car) my car has felt more crappy and am gonna go use it up tonight and fill it up with some optimax or some ultimate from a different station prayin i dont come across fat end petrol pump. Think im going mad.

Or maybe the person who fitted the interia/dash just done a proper job so it looked As standard. No point in fittin it, if u cant achieve this.

Yeah i'm sure i read somewhere before about the cambelt being a major job on them, Sorry i misread phat's comments i thought he ment the 20v turbo engine was in the Bravo's. That makes 18mpg look even worse, i dread to think what the turbo must be. Guess to many negatives and the Corrados looks win everytime, guess i was just a bit Impressed that she offer me a newer, low mileage car for mine and that got me thinking. Does anyone think the Fiat Coupe turbo residual will be as good as the Corrado's?

Yesterday i was talking to the girl next door, shes a bit of a dealer, always in a nice car. Her latest car is a Fiat Coupe 20v turbo on a R plate in sprint blue with full leather interia and 79k on the clock and in very good condition. She doesent want to sell it but she has offered me a straight swap for my C, which she has always loved, as do all of her family. After laughin, i started to think about it, a quick drive can confirm its pritty lively and did get me thinking most of the night. My head returned to normal today, and have gone off it a bit due to it being a fiat and not as nice on the eye as the C, probley rustin, costin more the the C to repair etc etc. What would others do?, bearin in mind i am about to spend lots on my C, a kind of no turning back approach, as i would then lose too much. , and this car is gotta be worth more then mine, but will it in 2/4/6 years time?. I know most people will obviosly say stick with the vw, but turbo does tempt me. but gettin my C to perfection interests me too, Has anyone had one of these Fiats with this engine and would care to comment on the running costs? I think i have kinda made my mind up on keepin with the C, guess this is just a has anyone had/drove a 20v turbo fiat and what u think kinda question,.???

I doubt few Corrados drive like Kev's one. You have been spoiled if you have driven that one first unfortauntly.

No Passats after 93 are different, the speed control knob is on the wrong side, If ya gonna use a Passat one, u need 89>92/93 ish one i think with the speed thing on the same side as the corrado one.

Very Nice, I love black Corrado's specially when they clean. side strips, Think im gonna colour code mine too much garage wall to risk, although they do look better with out them.

I recently put leather seats in mine, and no there is no loom already there. Or there wearnt on my vr6. I got mine (the loom) with the seats though, but still had the pleasure of fitting it in, but as i had taken it out the other car it kinda showed me how it was in originally.

Nah the silver flap is in the right place, or is on mine. I have come across petrol stations where the pumps give hassle though, my local BP/Sheel dont have any problems though.

mmmmmmm nice wheels, Hope you have some locking wheel nuts for them. lol, All those pots could be a health and safety issue.
