Good Luck with the new car Mark :D Should make the trip down to Woburn a laugh (If they have it) Your have to bring it down wagon and horses start of next month for the club gti meeting, So we can all have a look 8) Wil you be putting your number plate on it? -
Nice work Mate, Car's looking great, with a nice subtle selection of mods keeping the storm original look though. :D Great too see the dials in too, I think you have got the last set cause i have never heard no more about the ones i have had on order since before xmas.

lol, Great yarmouth have a brand new Mitsubushi Evo police car, must be too keep up with all the saxo's/corsa's cruisein around.
-
Gotta agree with you there, I have a mate with a 2001 punto sporting quite good spec on it but has had to have amongst other things a new steering shaft aseembly £500, paintwork cracking in places, dash lights that come on and off, a cv joint, exhaust, windscreen wipers that judder on intermitant (known punto problem due to fiat "engineers" useing the wrong grease or somethin) It has more rattles then my ten year old lowered corrado. all these within the last year on a 30k mile model. ya gotta laugh

I've had mine stall on me once while going round a corner, not very nice or inspireing at all when the power steering goes and im tryin to wrestle the 17s round the corner. Turned out the maf plug had come off, not that im saying thats whats up with yours, but understand how u feel. After buying my VR i wondered if i had bought into a rather large money pit, Problems and things breaking, paronoid about most things on it.Things will get better though. Stick with it, I love my car and wouldent be with out it, how ever much it costs(well), as said earlier these arent new cars anymore and some things will need replaceing. A few months love and care (and money) and it will be as reliable as anything else about.

Top Marks :D Perfect Corrado, Love the seats, love the wheels, looks mint -
Yes mate i did, they are heated, cause i had to unplug them before takein them out, i also had the switch of the dashboard. Advert said they wearnt electric which they arent. I have never seen some leather seats that wearnt heated on a vr6/ Cheers for the info guys, am gonna head back this weekend and get all the wiring out of it, this should help and save some money as i'm sure the loom isent cheap from vw. Seems like there is a few of us in this position, will post up some pics once i have it sorted, will pull leather donor car apart this weekend too see how its all done. relays 17,18 i belive are the ones needed. Wiring diagram would be useful :D
-
After completeing my search for a leather interia I now want to try and wire up the heated seat part of it. Has anyone else done this and have any pointers or guides to doing this? Have tryed doing a search on this but no luck. Any help or advice on this would be appreciated. :D Is There any chance the wiring will already be in my car?
-
Lovely Car :D looks mint and great as standard. I'd be well happy with that.

Hmmm that's a shame, wearnt sure if the early dash's had the light, But when u take the ashtray out u can see inside above there is a light which illuminates the ashtray at night, was thinking you could pull this out and run your wire up there, i had to run a power wire of this light for my additional gauges so have pulled most of this area apart before.
-
The ashtray has a light when u open it on later dashboards, cant u pull that out and do what you said above jim?
-
I got spacers on the front to clear the calipers, but none on the back, car was like this when i got it, Should it have some on the back too? it doesent need them, but wondered if it effected it handling wise
-
Yes there's a electrical connector to plug in too/ MAF sensor style. Only ttok me 10/15mins, Easy home job for the not so mechanicly minded like me.
-
My Coil Packed 93 corrado has the earlier diagnostic connector, Think it was changed on late 93 models onwards. Seat trim patten changed as well on vr6's about same time as the connector.
-
Hello BeavisJem, That was me in blue vr6 with no front number plate, it does have one on now though :D . Had just seen two corrado's in five mins that day, saw another one near mousehold just after u.

What's the law on removing the indicator from a UK wing?
crazymarcel replied to biggerbigben's topic in Exterior
lol, bet people love u on roundabouts :D -
Yep your right, it does have a Kahn steering wheel in it, couldent see much else of the interia, windows were slightly tinted. Looks a bit tatty in places,(not the paintwork) could do with some money being spent on it. I dint mind it though obviously sell better if it had a more desirable engine in it. *mod edit - double post removed - Henny*

See this uniquely coloured corrado for sale in norwich, Perhaps the only Corrado in this colour in the uk?
-
Are the later style control stalks wipers/indicators exactly the same as a mk3 golf gti set? Does anyone know?? cheers
-

-
