Is it ok to disconnect car's battery when sat in garage and car's not in use, will it damage the ecu or anythin? After a week's non corrado use, the battery struggled to start today and think the alarm must be zappin part of the battery. So is it cool to disconnect battery for long period's of time with no adverse effects? Thanks,

I had this exact same problem, Heater motor solved it, you can whip one of any mk2 golf from a breakers yard, switch the resistor packs over, as the golf one has a different plug on it, as its only 3 speed as opposed to corrado's four. My heater now works all the time, Chuffed cheap fix

i know how much I've spent, have written everythin down on a pad. In eight months, I've spent 2621.34. To be fair, more on upgrades then repairs. :)

Thats part of my reason, can spend more money on corrado (hopefully) by driveing the jetta round on work/shop/nasty road type trips, save mileage and wear on corrado, and give me more time to improve it while it stays dry in the garage. I know the jetta i bought is gonna be reliable and cheap, can happily cain it,looks alright (only cause its a big bumper one) still decidein if i should ditch the national trust acorn sticker it came with. Corrado's fixed, maf cable had came disconnected, must have not got the little metal clip on right after BMC fitting, all safe and happy now

I'll know tonight for certain, but my new coil pack is prime suspect. I know you warned me about Beru coilpacks but 2 weeks is takein the p***. Have just bought a excellent condition late jetta with big bumpers to bomb about in . I'm lookin forward to kerbing it, speedin over speed ramps, leavein it in undesirable places and all the other things i dint/couldent do in my corrado/ :D

Due to another Corrado problem :( which see's me havein to use damm bike again, I'm thinking of buyin a cheap runner for work and that. Saves puttin the miles on my corrado, lets it live in the garage till nice weather and i think i can get it too a better standard by not usein it everyday? I think i want a vw and have kinda decided on maybe a mk2 gti 8v or a vento,mk3 golf any opions from people on what would make a good second car appreciated?

God i hate them lights on washer jets they really wind me up :x !! ya right mate what a bunch of tw*ts!! :mad: my 2p lol, Those washer jet lights are evil.

Here some pics kev, i put them on tonight, they resemble the inpro's a lot, haveing had them as well, but strangely these seem to fit a lot flusher.

There's nothing wrong with the bulbs they come with standard orange, but in my opion i think some silvertec style bulbs would look better. Had some in the garage anyway from old set of inpro's.

Got Mine today, thanks again Simon, good deal. Just need to get some silvertech bulbs now to replace those nasty orange ones they come with and i@m happy :D

See a lovely H reg Corrado in that wierd colour changein (only ever seen on Nissan's before chamelion style colour) in Norwich on earlham road today, what a colour almost fell off my bike :)

Anyone seen this japanese corrado vr6 video? I think it sounds amazeing would love to know whats be done on it. http://www.oichan.org/video/video.htm It may be easier to download by right clicking on the image and selecting 'save target as' as it dint like playing them live. Dint think Japs were into anythin other then Honda and such
