The Bloke selling the grey leather is also selling a set of clear in pro lights some alloys momo millienium steering wheel. and a few other corrado parts. He not replied to my emails, If he is selling a full interia, you wouldent pay for it until u picked it up, so u would get too see it. If he posted pics of the stuff though he would get so much more.

ok so i'm wrong and apoligise The doorcards were sold but new owner of them was drunk when bidding does not want them now and was useing the original seller to get my email address. Too see if i wanted to buy them off him direct. They will be going back on ebay. lol, gonna have try and retrieve my ebay complaint now, what a twat i am sometimes.

That sounds like the one, apoligies if i have slandered him or anything. I take it all back he probley has got some, still think a "friend" was pushing the price up on them, even more happy i got nothing to do with them if they from an earlier corrado. He had them advertised as 92 corrado skins and no pics and no response to emails

Have reported the whole thing too ebay, hopefully they can identify his ip address and ban/suspend him or somethin.

Does this sound shady to anyone else or just me? Four days after this auction finished (27/12/03) i was sent the ebay second chance email, kinda one the seller will send to second highest bidder after the initial winning bidder messed him about. After two of these emails i have since recieved an email of the winning bidder saying he had already bought and purchased them and would i like to buy them off him. To me this sounds as if they are playing the ebay system by getting his mate to outbid everyone for the item thereby finding out how much everyone else is prepared to pay and then offering to the second highest bidder (the real highest bidder). The sellers email address does not work and only has 1 feedback, while the winning bidder who came out of nowhere with no feedback to win the item and managed to pay and pick the items up and then decide he dint want them all within four days, christmas weekend at that. Also by haveing the no feedback winnning bidder offer me them, i have no guarentee if i sent him the cash/cheque i would ever recieve anythin, it doesent go through ebay, so no compo or action from them. Started thinking more theres no pic for the item, so does it even exist, with a full leather interia it would have to be picked up and they couldent have that, so by selling Fake leather doorcards which were posted. Makes things easier. This deal seems so dodgy to me, Ive told them where they can stick there doorcards. Just thought i would warn people on here incase they try it again. Of coarse it could be all soo innocent but theres tooo many shady points to this. There ebay usernames are: simonarthur (seller) juskalsi (buyer).

Mike, Gonna pick up the final part of what i need this week from vw dealer, its a t bar piece which will turn my sender into a dual pole sender, was all i was waiting for. Will post some pics later this week or weekend once they are in, i don't expect any problems.

Yep true guys, It was gettin hard to justify the price to myself, especially as there wearnt even any pictures to show ya what your buying and the bloke wouldent answer my emails asking how much postage would be on them. Its amazeing though how much parts for corrados go for on ebay.

My 93 VR6 has just passed 120k, Still going strong, With big plans left for the rest of its life :)

I Used Magnatec in my vr after i got it and it used loads, was smokeing sometimes but no power loss or not that i noticed. When it was serviced, Oil change to syntra silver, doesent use half as much oil as it used too, obviously uses some oil still but not much or not too worry me also no smoke since. Sorry cant say how much oil over how many miles cause i cant remember. But i would def try the syntra silver oil.

When driveing back from pickin the green 16v up that was for sale on this forum on Saturday. Me and mate compared and my vr6 managed 32. somethin mpg while my mates new 2.0 16v was on 29mpg This was over 240miles at various speeds but mainly around 80. Is the mfa computers numbers right do these go wrong/duff readings or is my vr6 just more economic on a long run.

I know someone has kinda taken in the insides out of there cat but left it on too look like its still there. Would this work>? and would the garages know with the emissions and that.

Heres some pic of my original Corrado mats, They were still avalible from VW and if ya bought multiple sets and sold them on ebay that easily pays for a set for yourself, Thats what i done anyway. Mine are about a year old an in excellent condition just need a good clean, which my car hasent recieved in a while Always nice to have original vw parts even if they are more expensive.

The rhd units i can get are the later style ones, Although Del if you got a part number for the vdo style panel i can see if i can get it for you? I think some dealers are more helpful then others.

i believe the mk3 golf uses the same plug on the wiring to the back lights (not to actually plug into the lights but under the boot carpet on the way), although gonna check this out later. would prefer an original plug but halfords jobbies will do if not.

Cheers for the help everyone :D They should be fitted sometime during my xmas hols all being well, The back of the display panel has a four pin plug adapter, would people use female halfords plug things or hunt out the original plug for this. |Not sure if this would fit in older style dashboard corrados, due to the heater controls/ashtray sizes all different and this panel attaches by takeing the ashtray out and the bit that holds the ashtray in and attaching underneath, sorry my terms arent great.

My car has this problem, Will be left until somethin else major is done at the same time e.g timing chains, tappets, head gasket, clutch etc and the engine is apart. Its not the part that costs its the labor, unless of coarse u can do it yaself.
