If it is the Heater motor, Just get one from a broken mk2 golf and switch the resistor packs other as the golf one is only three speed as opposed to the corrado's 4 speed heater.

I don't think mileage is a problem,I remember Vince@stealth tellin me about a low mileage VR in at the same time as mine which was knackered compared to my double the mileage car. A higher mileage much loved car would always be the better option IMO and if u dint like the look of it on ya speedo, change the cluster.

I think the Bora is the best attempt of a Golf with a boot. Could fit almost ten bodies in the boot of my old jetta though. was huge/

Piss poor in my opion, One magazine since i last renewed my membership and its nearly time again to renew. Specially since all the shady financial things come out, havent seen much change in anything, maybe we will all get free membership this comeing year due to the large surplus cash mountain they were sittin on.

Cheers kev, After a closer look, seems my anti roll bar has snapped and the broken end is hittin the hub. Does anyone know the cost of a replacement ?

Hello all, hope everyone had a Good xmas, nice new blue look to the forum since my last visit :) After a bit of spirited/rally style driveing along some roads that really should not be called roads ive managed to brake it. Should have stuck to the bypass. Anyway my poor quality description is the passenger side front wheel makes either a creaking or banging sound when it hits a hole or especially when turning to the left hard. Sounds like somethins bout to fall off. I'm hopeing leavein my car for an hour or two will fix it but imagine it wont, any suggestions what this could be??? The suspension and springs are only 5 months old and done less then 4000 miles. Cheers/

Never had a problem with my corrado jacks, the amount of sets of wheels i have swapped useing it, i most admit it can be a bit scary and think its time i invested in a proper trolley jack and some axle stands. My old shingle driveway used to provide me with a few brown trouser moments when useing the jack :?

Still wrong , One switch for just Fronts, or second switch for fronts and rears. There is no way on a standard vr to put rear fogs on without the fronts, unless of coarse you disconnect them.

Yep cheers for that Kev, much appreciated, bit of a shit dint fix the problem, but least i know thats one less thing it could be and everything is working ok,(fans etc) looks like a dodgy gauge or if there is a sender for it somewhere.

Nasty too see your old cars in a state, most of mine have met a nasty end, My mk1 astra GTE can be seen at Norfolk salvage, my xr3i was bought by some gypsies, police come round few weeks later sayin it had been in a hit and run and could i describe the buyers. Two weeks back my old corrado was hit up the arse, looks a right mess now. Think only my old Golf is left on the road. :(

I think if you not happy with it now sell it and get what you want, might look a bit dicey to someone why u sellin so soon after buyin it, surprised if you even got the v5 document back yet. as long as the car is a good un, cant see why u cant just sell again. I bought a valver and wished for more power, stuck with it for a year and a half, spent a small fortune on it, then decided to sell and get what i really wanted.

Lovely colour leather, like it a lot, looks great next to the purple paint :D Surprised too see the nice porsche wheels replaced with some RC's not that i dont like them or anythin, just think your car deserves somethin more bling/unique/special. Still one of my fave C's though 8)
