Begbie, You can buy just an eyebrow spoiler, i think G&S sell them or they for sale at various shows. Last corrado i had, had a eyebrow, bonnet was a b**** to open after it was fitted though/

I let my ex drive my car when i was too wankered to drive it, she dint have no license at all, but thought that was better then my pissed state. We dint make it though, going through a small tunnel, ya too close, too late. Half a mile later we had a flat. Funnily enough new GF today asked if she could have a drive, I'll probley let her cause shes so damm good lookin, and she does things for me :wink:

Cool, well i imagine the G60 will do better on economy then, i think it would be pritty close though, considerin its a 2.9 it does ok.

Thats not bad at all, i thought they were worse then that. I think the Vr has the advantage if ya driveing along at 70/80ish cause ya gonna be doing like under 3k revs in fifth. Thats my logic anyway :)

I think it takes the pi** that a woman at works dirty smokey, on the road more then mine, noisy old ford orion pays almost half the tax i do. Tax should be the same whatever or if not done on petrol, the more you use it the more you pay.

I rekon the 2.0 8v is gonna be your best bet for economy. My vr does low 20s around town in traffic up to 35mpg on a run What's the best you had on a run jim?

I would check first too see if you gettin a spark when turning it over, My fuel pump only makes a noise when it primes other then that its pritty quiet/

I think you can lose the passenger side mirror, but not the drivers side. I wouldent though unless replacein with diff mirrors Yea lose the wiper & motor, thats a weight saveing as well :)

I never really thought about it before, but i agree with what your saying OSV, Lookin at your car i also bet there is less satin silver vr6's then storm's in the UK. Would be good to know how the numbers breakdown, bet hardly any 8v's were sold.

After gettin most of the mechnical/interia/ice sorted out this year, The winter months involve: Gettin the bodywork sorted (been quoted £570) Oill Cooler (wrong time of the year i know) New Foglight Some New Tyres Locatein an fixing a certain steering colume rattle I feel like i done so much this year though, i may just get nothing unless somethin goes wrong. :)

I think vw still sell the logo, but by what some people are sayin only the primed ones. Chrome ones out of stock Yes the G60 wheel will go on a 2.0 16v

We never tried the rear, cant see why u would want a golf rear as opposed to a corrado rear though :)

I just got a heater out of a mk2 golf at a scrapie for a tenner, switch the resistor packs over, as the golf one is only three speed and sorted for a tenner. pickin a non noisy one though is a bit of a lottery.
