Breaking 1995 Corrado VR6 - 117k, Full Black Leather
__Andy__ replied to Purple Tom's topic in Cars for Breaking
i need the pcv and all associated pipework.. price please... -
im a strong believer in you get what you pay for... espiecially with paint work. its all about decent prep work to end up with a gd finish... ive got reciepts for paintwork totalling over £4k on my first valver and although it was a very good finsh it didnt stand the test of time too well and i wouldnt recommend anyone to have paint/bodywork where it was done... for the money that was spent on the paintwork it could of gone to several other places with the finish being noticeably better and probably with change. out of interest who are you thinking of getting to paint it?

falkens have a slight natural stretch already, as stupid as that sounds... ive run them on my d90's for over two years and found them v gd.. though i have a spare set of dunlop sp2000 in the exact same size which i must say i prefer although the stretch is ever so slightly differnt between the dunlops and falkens... the site your prob looking for in regards tpo pics of differnt stretch is wheelwhores.com im sure there is a stretch section on there. hth

attempted to clean the valver for the first time in 7 months, gave up after washing off two wheels and went out for a ride on the road bike instead..

Let me know if you do sell the early cloth..I had those seats stored for a long time before cazza bought them. As for your decision I'm in the same boat chap, don't need to sell either but being sensible I should sell one or the other.trouble is I love my valver too much to let it go and equally enjoy the vr..

ok small update then chaps... the alpine is now sat on my folks driveway again looking dirty and sorry for itself as it hasnt been cleaned properly since before the engine rebuild.. having been off my feet for three months with the chocolate achilles i lost a lot of love for cars etc..however i did buy another corrado in december which ive been doing the odd bit on here and there when i can find the energy. the alpine still isnt through the running in period on the engine, probably another 6-700 miles to go before its run in properly (1000 mile run in) so in 7 months or so its done literally 300 miles...brilliant! the bbs' arent looking too pretty, over the winter its been sat on them the whole time i was injured, they will be stripped and refurbished in the coming months and subsequently sold, too much maintenance for me at the moment. have started to slowly gather together all of my spares ready to be sold and clear out my folks garage, im in two minds at the moment as to what im going to do with both cars..im considering selling everything but at the same time am kinda looking for supercharger's... :cuckoo: i think i just need to have some time enjoying and driving a car, espiecially the alpine after all the work that went into it.. still havent driven it properly since it was semi-finished, still quite a lot to do on it and i really dont have the energy... hence the feeling of just selling up and maybe buying a standard one to use the odd weekend when the weather is nice. decisions decisions...

Simple as it sounds have you checked the belt is unser tension? I've had this problem before and it turned out to be the belt being loose.
-
Just waiting for better weather chap so I can put the swg on, robed should have first dibs on yours as he originally wanted one.

It's Deffinately available from GSF, I checked it today and the number you have crosses straight to the hose you need, I wouldn't go by the GSF website as it's not all that accurate.did you speak to a branch?
