cheers people the wheels i've tried to fit are Borbet A, 5 x100, 9" x 16" onto a VR6 with Koni TA + H&R suspension setup, so not dropped on its arse the problem is i need to space at the front to clear the brake callipers and then the wheels stick out past the arches They are ET15 so that's obviously my problem with them sticking out too far Will have to have a look about and weigh up the options I think the Borbets will be for sale on here within the next day or so if anyone is interested then keep your eye out in Parts For Sale, all wheels refurbed before my purchase with tyres so hopefully will sell fairly quick, although i reckon i'll lose a bit on what i paid for them
-
please could someone tell me what alloys there are that can be fitted straight onto a C without any modifications i.e. arch work, spacers, etc. ? bought some borbet A's a bit back but can't afford to fit them due to work needed to be done so going to sell them so interested in any ideas people have what about the BBS RC's? will they go without much effort?

i used to live in lancaster till a few months ago and looked all over for a specialist but there isn't one...i never used to spit any C's in lancaster and now i find out 2 others lived there i also have used the stealer (cumberland view i take it) and yeah they aint too clued up on the corrado, costs a bomb for parts too i'm now in bolton and thinking of trying awesome git as its closest but PSI isn't too far away either
-
i didn't know this either, do they just heat all the time? or is there some hidden switch i don't know about
-

Think my problem may be a faulty ignition switch after a search, sounds like a safe bet
-
I've got a feeling my TOAD alarm / immobiliser is faulty. Intermittently when i deactivate the alarm and then try to start the car i turn the key and nothing happens, so i try a few times and eventually it starts. Today i have done the same but after sitting there for 5 minutes trying to start it i've given up. :cuckoo: does this sound like the immobiliser to people? Or is it more likely a problem with the car's ignition.. I driver a late VR6 if that makes any difference. Any help appreciated :D

sounds amazing that mate, well in...i fancy a trip to germany at some point in the future, been to munich watching bolton play in uefa cup but flew then...i bet the drive across is nice, great chance to take a few other countries on the way too
-
yeah i know mate, i was there last year and camped...at times yes it was very grim after being out all night on the pop etc. maybe i'm stupid but we're camping again haha, but i know what to expect so will plan a bit better with getting as good a pitch that i can shade wise...i'll probably live to regret the camping as i did last year but the expense of a villa on top of other costs is too much for me... i think the whole buzz of the festival will carry me through anyhow :D
-
what long distance road trips have people made in there C? I'm driving to Benicassim festival near Valencia this summer, about 2500 mile round trip, really can't wait...amazing drive down through france and spain camping along the way, then Kings of Leon, Oasis, Paul Weller already headlining the festival...will be amazing.. really interested in hearing about other people's adventures..
-
haha good post...i agree they look pants but do understand the benefit in regards to stone chips etc. personally i wouldn't fit one because they make a mean powerful car look very camp. it would be like having a cross dressing corrado...
-
sounds like exactly the problem i've had over the past couple of weeks, takin it to my mates garage tomorrow for oil change and a check up so i'll find out for sure then
-
has anybody bought from this on-line shop before? i bought some of the poor boys stuff, paid with paypal and have never received anything..claim has gone through and was successful but i've not received any money back because there is none in the sellers account.. unless there's a very good reason then this site should be avoided, just a heads up for anyone in the future
-
gonna try the poorboys stuff i think, always been happy with their products in the past cheers for the info all
-
the peanut butter idea sounds interesting haha
-
Has anyone ever used this stuff? http://bromoco.co.uk/backforgood.aspx I've tried back 2 black and things like that and they don't seem to do a very good job imo. I found when putting some wd40 on the door lock mechanism and accidentally getting some on the door handle that it does a better job of reducing the fade than b2b anyone know of any other products that do a good job? fade looks so grim!!
-
I've got the magnex exhaust, looks bang on. also got Koni t/a's + H&R Springs, they improve the ride a lot but not proper dropped on its arse, just right imo with 16" or 17" wheels
