After nearly 5 years of owning my Corrado I am finally able to start fixing the niggles. When I bought it the previous owner said the drivers side central locking didn't work and the drivers handle sometimes didn't lock at all. However, none of the central locking has ever worked for me. I have stripped the drivers side door cards and interior plus : - Visually checked for any wire perishing or loose connections - can't find any unless it's under the wrap. - checked for any vacuum pipe splits -can't find any - disconnected and reconnected the pump - when the loom was plugged back in the first time it made the pumping noise for a few seconds then stopped. It hasn't done it again on reconnecting. - sucked and blew on the vacuum pipes - I can hear a slight open / close noise from the doors. The first time I did this the pump kicked in for quite a few seconds and then stopped. This resulted in my fuel cap being locked but nothing else. The pump has not done this again on further ducking or blowing. My electric windows are still working so I assume it's not the fuse. I have a sparky friend coming over in a few weeks to test the wiring and connections for me but is there anything else I can try in the meantime? Could it be the module even if the windows are working? Many thanks

I am just in the process of sorting out all the mouse damage from inside my Corrado. I was taping up the wiring under the glove box when this loom came out from being the center consol. It comes from the hole to the engine bay. Does anyone know what it's to? Or, is it just an old alarm loom?

Thankyou Lilfuzzer but I think Purple Tom has a deal as they are exactly the parts I am after! I will pop you a PM :-)

I know everyone is after one of these but has anyone got a drivers side exterior door handle and drivers late central locking unit with rods available? It's not the usual part that has broken on my handle. It's actually one of the lock and unlock arms that has snapped off. Thanks

Hi. Have you got any more of the bonnet catches that go in the center? I don't need the springs either side. I can send one back to you with payment for an exchange. Thanks

What has four legs, a tail and lives in my Corrado?

LMAO!funny guys. I can finally laugh about it as I have caught them all and found two nests... One under my rear seats and the other behind my dash. I have had to replace quite a few dash parts as they were either nibbled or were saturated in mouse wee... yuk! Thankfully so far no wires have been ruined but I am still taking the interior apart to confirm. Oh and in total. I have caught 5 mice!! The Corrado will have traps set up in it continually now.... forever. -
It has been a while since I did anything on my Corrado. A few days ago I decided to start on it again. I was so excited! I opened my bonnet to connect my battery and found the once pristine bonnet foam was gone! Oh no sorry, it wasn't gone.... It was in tiny pieces all over my engine. I was so upset. I went into the cabin and the black carpet had been eaten with a hole in the passenger footwell. There's some foam under the passenger seat and the boot Carpet has been eaten in several places. I can't express how upset I was but on the plus side it did start and all the electrics appeared to work but the heated seats. I immediately filled the car with traps, poison and pads.... so far I have caught two in there and I'm going back this afternoon to check for more. It has made me realise how rare the Corrado is getting now as trying to find replacement parts is so tricky now.

Love these but not keen on red logo. Ideally want the white like the factory ones but don't think they do them. I don't partially want cheap. Just ones that look like the factory ones unless anyone knows and dealers that have any?!

Hi guys. happy New year! I know this has been raised many times in the past but I can't seem to find the info I am after. Does anyone know where I can get a set of OEM style Corrado script floor mats in black? I have rung the dealer who has said they are obselet . I've scoured ebay and Google with no luck but as I say... I'm sure I have seen posts on here a few years back!
