    tyre pressures

Aproximately 2 bar, so around 28-30 psi should be about right, thats what I have in mine!
  2. As promised here are the plots from my G60 from the Stealth day. Spec from the top of my head: 68 pulley AMD Chip RSR Outlet Chargecooler Mocal oil cooler Carbon canister removed/cold air feed Stainless steel exhaust without cat I haven't replaced anything recently (touch wood) that would effect engine output. Happy to help if I can. Simon

    My New Toys

They are what I want when funds allow....and they are mean't to be as good as they look :D
  4. Toby I chatted to you at the Stealth RR day. I had the back G60 which was the first G60 on the rollers. I haven't got the plots on me at work today but will scan them in tomorrow and post them up into this thread. When I do you will see that my BHP/torque curve doesn't show any dipping in power as you are suffering. It made 195.4BHP. Its a difficult one to try and isolate why yours is doing that. FYI mine was chipped at AMD. Ill post the full spec tomorrow. Simon
  5. Cheers Funky for organising a good day out :turn-l: and obviously nice one Stealth for their kind expertise. When I get around to downloading the camcorder footage ill either post a link/upload it so everyone can see. Sy
  6. Nick Start by removing the sunvisors and the intrior light situated infront of the sunroof. Then take out the B-Piller trim, A-Piller trim followed finally by the C-piller. Its pretty straight forward but will require parts like the seatbelt to be disconnected from the B-Piller. The one bit that got me was the coat hook. The cover slides up and off!! I had to look at the Bentley manual to work this out without damaging anything . The rear upper trim just pops out. The area around the sunroof has a rubber seal that can be pulled out leaving the headliner to be removed from out of the rear vehicle. If you still have difficulty I can send you the diagrams from the manual, otherwise come to Essex and i'll help you. Regards Simon
  7. A Cat 1 Laserline alarm can have both window and sunroof modules added enabling total closure(of opening bits)of the vehicle. I'm sure most manufacturers are offering this facility. Sy

    lowering caps????

As far as I'm aware they will only fit onto the front! About 25 pound a pair. Sy
  9. Funky/All I was just wondering what Corrado varients we will be seeing on the rollers at Stealth on the 19th from those that have paid, or will I have to wait to find out when the bonnets are opened. For example 3xVR6, 2xG60, 6x16v... Mines a G60 for starters :D

    MOT work

I did mine on a set of trolley jacks and axle stands on my parents drive in just over an hour... 2 hours for a proper garage with ramps seems a touch excessive to me... :? Was it an easy job or did you come across any difficulties?

    MOT work

I am about to be changing my starter motor when I get the spare one back from being refurbished. I wasn't expecting it to be a difficult/time consuming job. How comes it takes between 1-2 hours?? To be honest I haven't looked into whats involved, how difficult is it and what should I be aware of? Cheers

    Hayward&scott ??

Ruffy If you don't mind me asking how much have they quoted for the down pipe back?
  13. Sy_VW

    Hayward&scott ??

Ruffy Anything you want me to ask/check out in particular? You can PM me if you want. I assume that you have been quoted a price. Also have you thought of Powerflow.

    Hayward&scott ??

Haven't got one myself but a friend used to rave about them especially for Jap cars! They are based minutes away from where I work so if you want me to check them out or discuss anything with them I could do.
  15. Get your digital camera out and take a photo of the carbon bits so we can all see what they look like!
  16. What are people anticipating?? Thats always a good question as so many people have over ambitious ideas on there Corrado BHP figures. I so often here figures of 220BHP+ in their G60 and I know I have less than that and still kick their ar*e at Santa Pod. Don't get me wrong these figures are achievable but does take quite a bit of work to achieve! Bring on the rollers :D :D :D
  17. I realised after I posted the message that it says on your post that you are looking to get a Corrado. There are quite a few around the area but no one on the forum by the looks of things. I work in Laindon/Dunton for ***cough*** Ford so not far away. Get in touch when you get your Corrado!
  18. Where about do you work? Either up the A12 or A127. What colour is your Corrado as I may have seen it about.
  19. I was just about to say Golf Rallye as I have been there done that with the MK1 Golf. The Rallye like the Corrado has that rarity which I like and are pretty good value now.
  20. Funky My cheque is in the post, sent first class so you will receive it Tuesday. Sy :cyclops2:
  21. Pimp: Is anyone from sunny Essex? I am i'm afraid (well work here). What kind/colour Corrado have you got?

    How Fat is C

The G60 weighs about 50 kg less than a VR6. I can find out exact figures when I get home from work if you require them. c/l is short for central locking.
  23. Ok then... Danilo's 16v G60 Thats got subtle styling, sweet wheels (pain to clean but who cares) and with one hell of an engine. But there are loads of other cars on the forum that are equally amazing.
  24. I've got a charge cooler installed on my Corrado and can only say it's well worth having over the standard little intercooler, especially if you have more BHP. Jabbasport used to supply them for the G60 but don't anymore. You could get one custom made but by the time buy everything else you need for the conversion it starts to become pricey. The charge cooler also provides my corrado with a more direct route for the compressed air to the engine. Got to be good :D
  25. Just quoting what VW say, I honestly wouldn't know...... :D
