Thanks for the advice

Thanks v much!

Ah - I've found it! I can only see those that state they're for the LEFT front wing. Mine's the RIGHT, but are they not suitable for either side?!
-
The bit of plastic trim that's below the indicator is what I'm after guys! Cheers
-
Tomorrow I was planning to re-stick my loose plastic trim. Unfortunately today it fell off: It's the little plastic strip that should be sitting just under the indicator. Anyone know what this trim is called?! I tried to search for it in order to find a replacement, but I'm not really sure what it's named. Ta!

Good call, but I've a bit of a competence gap :(

Ok. The Storm went in for a service today, and they checked out the spoiler problem at the same time. They told me that there's an electrical overheat cut out causing it to jump on and off - i.e. work intermittently. Would it be best to go for the new motor option? Or bypass the overheat sensor thingy as on that other thread? Cheers

Thanks v much Jon. I'd found VW Heritage on an internet search yesterday. That may well end up being the solution. Cheers

I'm pretty sure this is the wrong sub-forum for this, so apologies but hopefully someone can help. Went to the seaside today. Traffic was horrendous, but on the plus side I saw a blue Storm (I think) in Hunstanton. On the minus side, my rear spoiler started playing up: going up a little (with lots of little effort noises), then not going up at all. And then, on the journey home, working again, but in stops and starts. So I'm pretty sure I'll be needing a new spoiler motor. My question is - where best to buy one? Ta in advance

My green Storm was parked near-ish to the entrance there on Saturday. Goodwood was awesome. Haven't been for 8 - 10 years, and it's got much bigger. Definitely going again next year.
-
Saturday for me.

'twas I, in my Storm! Yours looked excellent. Great wheels too.
-
That was good to watch - many thanks! But what was the "bruiser" that was mentioned in the final second?
-
Might as well give this a bump.

Hi all. I'm after a rust-free (or as close as I can get!) o/s front wing for my Storm. I'm near Peterborough. Thanks

Thanks for the advice. I'm near Peterborough.

Oh - I forgot to ask: are all Corrado front wings the same?! Or would I need to make sure I bought a VR6 wing?! Ta

Hi guys My green Storm has a small amount of rust on the front driver's side wing. I've just popped to a local bodywork man, who said he could rub it down and paint it, or preferably get a new wing instead. On the new wing option, where would be the best place to get hold of one?! Is it best to put a WTB on here for a rust-free wing? I've seen 1 or 2 on ebay, but I guess I'd have to contact the sellers to ensure I'd be getting a rust-free one. There aren't any other options, are there? My bodywork chap reckoned it would be a simple paint and bolt-on job. Cheers in advance

Any of your 3 suggestions would be fine. A VR6 is what I was going to suggest as well! How about a GTV v6? Or a fiat coupe 20vt (if they exist anymore). Having got hold of my VR6 a month or so ago, I've realised I don't really like driving anything more modern than it. When I eventually change, it'll probably be to something older.

I started looking for a VR6 (preferably a storm) around 6 months ago. (Prior to that I was looking on and off a couple of years ago.) I was surprised how cheap VR6s have gone. It was either going to be a VR6 or a Porsche 944 (S2 or turbo) for me, and 944 prices remained solid, if not rising, in comparison.

I sold my previous Storm in 2007. I bought my current one last month. So over 7 years waiting for me, but it was worth it!

For Sale: Mk4 Golf Gti 2.0L Here's my mk4 blue 5-door 2.0L Golf Gti. I recently picked up Liam's Corrado Storm (hooray!), and unfortunately I can't afford to run 2 cars. Details: 124k mileage, full service history (and only 2 previous owners), 12 months MOT, full cream leather, very good bodywork. Running fine, with no problems. It has climate control (climatronic or something, it's called), a CD multi-changer, heated front seats. All the electrics work. So it's all good apart from the fact that it's due for a service in 1000 miles, and on the MOT last week they advised that there is a slight oil leak. (No other advisories.) Price: ?650. Contact me with any questions, or to get further photos. Thanks. List Date: 3/2/2015 Location: Peterborough, United Kingdom For more info, click here to view the original listing: For Sale: Mk4 Golf Gti 2.0L -------------------------------------- On Sale For: ?650.00 (Local Pickup Only) --------------------------------------

Any of you guys Commdore/C64/Amiga guys back in the days?

We had a Dragon 32. (Just before the company went bust and you could no longer buy the games.) Played loads of great games on a mate's Electron though. -
Owned quite a few, including a classic mini, quite a few golfs, various fast coupes, porsches, and now back in a Corrado vr6

My mk2 Golf gti 8v was the car that properly got me into this fast car ownership thing. Great motor.
