coolrado- Check the pully location slot on the crank is undamaged! I refitted mine as it was drifting off it looked ok but alas it wasn't up to it this needs to be A1!!

blocked matrix? stick a hose pipe in the hot one and see if water comes out of other outlet

check your o-ring on the expansion cap, can cause a pressure lock if not sitting right

check amp rating on relay ie 20amp and just go to your local motor factor, halfrauds etc ask for a basic 4 wire relay daigram 1 on tis page http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/V ... relays.php 85=switch wire 86=ground/-v 30= supply from battery + 87= supply to light numbering may differ on your new relay so just follow diagarm

hmmm check timing belt on charger should be replaced every year IMO, only £8, but it does sound very rattly, you could take the belt off and start it (not for log though! 10 15secs) just to rule out anything else, check tensioners for play, move charger pulley by hand(you may feel play or uneven resistance). This guy's obviously never done a 306 matrix, you think the rados bad that is a c**t of a job on 306 took me near 8 hours too do and the dash has to come out can't do it with it in. what a :clown:

Loose manifold nut I'm willing to guess, do you have a 4branch on it? The outer 2 always come loose on mine, every 6mths I need to re tighten them
