the reason i say it is because my mk1 had loose battery and when i went round a roundabout it used to cut out due to a broken wire being stretched apart. oh what engine you got?

prolonged pinking will cause damage in the long run. however make sure you guys are using super unleaded with the correct RON as this could cause pinking also.

Hi all not a raddo but an 8v digifant mkII golf. The isv is still buzzing when ignition is turned OFF which is flattening the battery any ideas?

sorry should of said whats the torque of the pulley bolt?

Hi all My pulleys just sheered off the pas pump :shock: It's left the shaft in place and its sheered leaving the triangular mount still inside the pulley. would I be ok welding this back on? as they are now obsolete.

Bit of an update It was the digifant control relay that was at fault, replaced and all is now good :D
