They're special cars

Hey guys/gals, Looking to replace my current Supra with something diesel, due to escalating fuel costs :( However, I've seen a few threads around about TDi conversions in Corrados, and this looks quite interesting to me :) I've already owned a valver and a VR6 in the past, so I know these cars fairly well. Does anyone know what companies offer this conversion, and an approximate price? Also, I've read that the G60 is the best starting place for this conversion, is this true? Thanks :)

Hey guys, My 93 VR6s engine isn't in its best health anymore (she smokes a bit, you can smell the burning oil a bit when you put your foot down, and she has a bit of a bottom end knock) I'm looking to either have the engine rebuilt, or possibly go down the 24v route, and just wanted some opinions. The car is my daily driver, and while I am happy with the standard performance, I would like it to be a bit faster. I would ideally like an extra 20-50 hp. I would like a reputable garage to supply / fit all of the parts, so any recommendations on this would also be appreciated. Thanks. I have a budget of approx. £3000

I had a play against a mate of mine in his ctr last weekend. His has been rolling roaded at 230+ fwhp, and my standard VR6 was keeping up (just!) on the straights, and catching on the corners. I know the standard VR6 suffers a bit of body roll, but the civic seemed to suffer much worse and it's 10 years younger!

I'm just in the process of having my Corrado fully valeted, machine polished, waxed etc by The Car wash Guys, based in York. The Corrados paintwork was looking a little tired before (a previous owner had obviously liked the auto wash at the local garage! :( ) Even though it's not finished, the transformation is amazing! I really can't recommend Craig at Car Wash guys enough, he's kept me upto date with everything, and has even taken photos of the job step by step (and a few 50/50 comparisons) Can't wait for it to be finished now, I'll get some piccies posted when she's done!
