  1. But you can see he's mounted the 'tab' on the bodywork. I've fitted hundreds of these, and as you stated, the instructions on most of them are rubbish. The design of these DAB aerials are pretty poor too, though I suppose they need to make them as universal as possible.
  2. Sorry to say, but you've fitted the DAB aerial incorrectly. The sticky 'tab' that comes out of the black aerial box is supposed to attach to the car bodywork on the pillar. The, the aerial runs subtly around the side of the screen. If fitted properly, they're not very noticeable.

    Rubber splitters.

A video of the Supra one: And the GTO: The GTO one looks a simpler system, and the spoiler looks as if it might be around the right shape for a Corrado.

    Rubber splitters.

Here's a frankly daft idea :D One of the Corrados most unique features is the motorised rear spoiler. Wouldn't it be good if a similar system could be setup for the front splitter? Various cars use 'active front spoilers', the two most common being the Mitsubishi GTO and the MKIV Toyota Supra. As the Corrado already has the systems in place for activating a spoiler at speed, this *should* be easier than most cars.
  5. Yeah, it was J66 SDN. I only recognised it because it was up for sale a few months ago, still had my private plate, but these wheels had been fitted.
  6. I think this may be my old car :)
  7. Hey guys, can anyone point me in the direction of some definitive drawings and/or dimensions comparing the differences between early and late Corrados? I have read that the front wings and bonnet are different. If I decide to keep my Revell Corrado model, I want to build it as a VR6, and I want it to be as accurate as possible. Cheers :)
  8. They're both on UK eBay. I was referring to US eBay. They also tend to sell for a lot on eBay.de. The first one is also a Zender, which are worth much less than the g60 kits. I realise that I'm probably going to have to put it on US eBay to get what I want, but thought I'd give the UK guys a chance to get this rare kit first, and save me some aggro. Unless a company pays for a brand new tooling (highly doubtful), these will continue to go up in value. Cheers :)
  9. I've just put an advert for a Revell 1/24 Corrado G60 model kit in the Ebay/Misc section, but I suspect many will rarely venture there, and this is a hard to come by piece of Corrado paraphernalia. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=84383&p=1002453#post1002453
  10. Hey guys, due to being let down badly, I'm looking to raise some funds by selling off some of my treasures. :D I have this extra rare Corrado G60 in 1/24 scale. These are VERY sought after, as the kit had a very limited run, and apparently the moulds for the kit are no longer usable. Anyone familiar with the Revell Corrados will know that they did 3 versions - the G60 road car, the 'Rallye' and the Zender Cabriolet. The G60 is the hardest to come by, and is the only one that bares resemblence to the Corrado road cars. All parts are in their sealed bags. They regularly go for well over $300 US on Ebay in this condition, but I thought I'd see if anyone oh here wanted it before I put it on there, and save me the associated hassle and cost. £150 + P&P.
  11. White Corrado on Road Wars :D Used as a drugs mule.
  12. What channel is it on? Can't see it on Channel 5?
  13. There's a couple of seat bases for sale on eBay :)
  14. 2003 BMW 530d SE manual saloon in silver with black leather, FSH. 16" Turbine wheels with very good michelln tyres all round. Factory optional Msport steering wheel which is very nice and thick, and m sport gear knob. Being the 3 litre diesel, it's quick while still giving decent fuel economy. I'm getting 34mpg for town driving, and 50+ on the motorway. Performance and mpg can easily be improved with a remap. (such as SRD provides). The car will do 140mph plus, and has plenty of power for overtaking. It is fast for a diesel. it's on 119k miles (very low for one of these), and generally in great condition. The interior is very good, though could do with some new foot mats if I were being picky. There's also a very small slit (1cm) in o e of the rear arm rests, but these can be replaced cheaply if it bothers you. The exterior is very straight, the worst mark being a 5p sized dent above one of the front kidney grills caused by a stone. There's a few scratches on the rear bumper, and the odd age related mark. But generally, it very straight and there's NO rust. All panel gaps are perfect. The car comes on KW street coilovers, but is also supplied with the stock suspension. The coilovers can be a bit creaky, but they're only a few months old and in very good condition. I'm looking for £3900, or a deal with a Blackberry Corrado VR6. I also have some 17" genuine BMW BBS style 42 wheels I'd throw in for that price (which need a refurb due to corrosion on the lips) If the Other car sells first, I'll be keeping this.

  16. Plastic model kits only please, no die casts. Anything considered. Cheers, Jason.
  17. Quite impressed with how well they've captured the VR6 'roar' :)
  18. I always found her to be particularly good on fuel, coaxing over 40mpg was always easy on a long run (but she had a stock air box back then)
  19. Just spotted one in the Bond film 'Tomorrow Never dies"
  20. These have been available aftermarket for some time, I don't think Ford are bothered, so long as the mainstream companies leave it alone.
  21. I've owned over 30 cars now, including 2 Corrados and I'm ready for another Corrado now. :) The only other cars I've owned more than once are MKIV Supras (3), 200sx's (3), Capris (2) and Golfs (2).
  22. Hello fellow Yorkies :) I've owned a VR6 and a 16v.
  23. This was my car before the last owners :) My name is Jason, hence the plate :)
