Go back and pester him :D that's how I ended up with my Audi S2 :)

Christopher Ward C4, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight limited edition, number 99/100. VERY hard to come by, they were made specifically for the Squadron and the few left over we're sold privately. Christopher Ward do loads of nice watches, and they're very affordable for what they are: http://www.christopherward.co.uk/ Made in the UK with Swiss movements.

Lovely wheels, but be cautious about using aluminium wheel spacers: http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/167822-warning-aluminium-wheel-spacers.html

Some 16 valves don't have the hump either :)

Are my expectations too high for KW v1's and 17inch wheels with skinny tyres?

You'll struggle to get a 50 profile in 17s, the rolling radius is enormous (on most cars, as the tyres aren't stretched) -

But a combination of lower profile tyres on 17s compared to 15s, and stretch (which ruins the tyres natural suspension) will have a pretty terrible effect. -

Are the tyres stretched? If so, just putting on some correct width tyres would certainly help. -
Nice work :)

I'm based in York, and these are the only good body shop I'm aware of: http://www.frpulleyn.co.uk/html/crash_advice.html I've used many other local body shops, and I've had nothing but bad experiences :(

In no particular order: - Mk1 Golf GTi - Corrado VR6 - Toyota Supra (MKIV) with big power - Ferrari 288 GTO - Audi RS2 - E39 BMW 530D touring (IMO the best all round car of all time) - Lamborghini Gallardo (with twin turbo conversion) - Vanwall - Aston Martin V8 V600 Le Mans - Ford Capri MK2

They did a Black Magic special edition of the Skoda Felicia, it was a fantastic colour.

Sounds like a nice Whisky. It's definately my favourite mainstream single malt brand. Does anyone else hate it when you go to a bar, and when you ask to see their selection of Whiskies, they come back with Bells and JD :D

This is my little lot It may look excessive, but tbh I rarely drink it unless its a special occasion. I always make sure I've got a bit of ice in the freezer too :) I also keep a small bottle of JD in for cooking Chilli with, and often have a bottle or two of Castellero del Diablo Pinot Grigio in.

I spent alot of time on drives with a friend who had an EP3, and the VR6 had no problem keeping up on b-roads. The Vtecs lack any mid range torque, but stopping was much harder as the stock VR6 brakes aren't upto much abuse :D I really like Integras, but they're definately not suited to anything but the track in the UK (even the motorway is a pain as they have a tendency to drone) though even in stock form they will keep pace with exotica if driven well on a twisting track. If i was after a fast road Vtec, I'd be looking at the Accord R, CRX vtec (mk 2), EP3 Civic R or an S2000.

National Day 2012: Sunday 20 May: Brooklands

Looks like you all had a lot of fun :) -
Out of the box, the DC2 is one of the best track day cars you can buy for a reasonable budget, but a Corrado VR6 is more suited to the road and just as quick. The Integras ride is very hard! Should be similar running costs to a VR6, and the Integras rust just as badly as Corrados :D An EP3 Civic type R would make for a better road car.

After having a similar experience with a very renowned company, I would seriously recommend getting in touch with this company: http://www.speedwells.co.uk/ The chap who runs it is called Ibrar and he's a perfectionist. Much cheaper than the other company I used (I initially paid £600 for a full refurb, but they were 3 peice 19" wheels and I had new bolts fitted all round)

Hi Patrick. I'm very jealous, you live in one of the nicer areas of the country, and have the perfect car to exploit all of the amazing roads you have there. Have you any pictures of the car to post up?

Any idea of a 'round a bout' figure? I'm really after a Blackberry car but this is amazing.

He's definately going to want at least a grand for it :) (jus spoken to him) It's got RS4 replica wheels on it that have only covered 500 miles! With the mileage etc I know he's not going to go any lower. He doesn't particularly want, or need to sell the car either.
