Love the Black manifold mate 8) You gonna fit the cover too, or leave the cables and manifold bare? You started wiring the clocks etc in yet?

I still think 24v is the way to go. As I said before, it costs not much les for the engine, than getting the 12v rebuilt. I dont agree with the argument about resale value. My car is defo worth more with my engine than with a 12v engine. If thats a problem with the non enthusiasts, tough. Id rather sell to en enthusiast who appreciates it anyway. The 24v is a modern engine. It has better torque, BHP and fuel efficiency than the older 12v. There is always the risk of something going wrong, but that can happen to any car at any time, whether it be 1 yr old or 101 yrs old, thats life. Ive had the pleasure of being able to compare the 12v and 24v directly, and Im not looking back. At the end of the day though, its your choice mate and which ever way you go it'll still be a VR6 Corrado, and thats 8)

Ive had some screeching lately, mainly when cold/damp, from under the bonnet. It sounds like a belt slipping. Also, the last few days Ive had the oil light, battery light come on, and the power steering go heavy but the engine stays running. Then all goes back to normal, then it may happen again a little later and so on. Now Im assuming the alternator belt is slipping and needs replacing?? Or could it be the tensioner?? I do think it needs regreasing anyway but I just wanted some advice first. Anyone?

No, thats for the weather strip that runs along the bottom, and its closer to £40, I bought one a coule of months back. The rubber around the window is around £100

The fact that it disappears when you hit it suggests something is loose. Take the clocks out for a butchers mate, its easy to do.
-
Dude I have a MAF in the garage doing nothing. It works fine, well did when it was still on the car anyway. £70 posted if you want it ;)
-
That depends how quick he's going at the time ;)

Was talking with a mate the other day and he asked how much its worth, I dint really know. So what do you reckon? Dark Burgundy Pearl 1994 L 107k - Engine only on 42k Ive got two quotes for sorting the body work out, which Im gonna do. £100 for all the parking dinks, and £300 to respray the Bonnet, Front bumper and blow in the front wings, so no more stone chips. I think it'll also get a good polish while its there 8) Its got full heated leather, in excellent nick. Lowered on Koni TA's with Eibach springs Full Magnex stainless Red LEDs inside Pioneer flip down stereo, DEH-P5000 or something?? Standard Speedlines, with a couple of corrosion marks coming through, but nothing major Tar ox discs and ferodo pads (soon to be changed to Red stuff I think) Goodridge hoses Then theres the engine. 2.8 4motion with Custom-Code chip to approx 220 BHP (will find out at Stealth in Dec 8) ) K&N induction kit. It looks pretty much standard, as im sure most of you will know, but it goes rather well ;) So, what you reckon then guys?
