Lol I knew I'd get questioned for that. A few reasons; The bmc looks a bit crap IMO compared to a nice cone and makes near enough no sound. As you know the 24v makes hardly any intake noise compared to a 12v which was for me the best part so i guess I'm trying to recapture some of that. Performance wise I figure I rarely ever give it stick from stand still where heat soak mostly occurs so all is good. Its nippy enough for me to lose a couple bhp and not be bothered. Having said that if the difference is noticeable I'll look into fitting an OEM airbox. Rob, will look into that. Off to eBay I go!! To be honest, ideally I want to relocate the battery and washer bottle to be boot. Battery's a piece of ****, not sure how to deal with the washer though...

Yeah been busy lately so I've literally got nothing done other then fitting the induction kit and strut caps and a quick wipe down. I really need to clean the engine bay properly. Need to clean the wax off the chassis legs etc paint the inlet and fit a new cover. Oh and get a new coolant tank and washer bottle. Long... Does anyone know it battey covers from other vag models will fit??

Copy n paste of what I said on edition... Corrado for the 21st century has been done already if u need more info; check out Jay Renshaws old rado/Vick's current corrado. If you can get all that done in a year without paying someone a ludicrous amount I'd be very surprised. Your looking at 8-10k for a drive in drive out r32 swap with dsg without 4wd. Your current plans will cost you double if not more. Have u sourced a tt-rs lump yet? What are you going to do regarding the loom and fueling etc? Genuinely interested btw.

Oh cool, a lot of the car audio boys use c-teks and speak highly of em. Should do the job nicely!

Hi mate, what is it your havin done? The owners/exhaust dudes are awesome but the new mechanic just seemed to want to hustle work out of me. I may be wrong and he might just know his sh*t but either way hes not as good as the last guy IMO. If I could get hold of him I'd travel hours to leave my car with him! Shhhh it's a secret! Steve, v1s are highly regarded. They're supposed to be one of the best fixed rate coilovers. I love my fk konigsports, ride is as good as it gets for the money IMO, I still get squeaks and rattles though; all 3 of my previous rado's have had the same problems but it is what it is.

If the wings and bumper are good take em/buy em... Always good to keep spares! Your rado looks sweet, I just remembered looking at that pic that I need another set of smoked plates!

They do pull right... U done any other mods other then the exhaust and map? Which map do you have? Ive heard some of the maps can take the throttle response a bit which mine needs... Wheel spinning out of corners with way less then half throttle has become a norm lol. Oh and what's next after 288s? I reckon a bit of paint on the front end, refurb the Bbs rims and leave it at that. :) Pm me if u decide to sell those wheels btw lol... One last thing; did u use the steel sump off the VR or the 24v alloy item? My alloy dumps got a small leak already and your rados lower then mine lol.

Hey fella I wouldn't go torque anymore, simply put I'm not going torque anymore... Their main mechanic has left and the new guy didn't inspire much confidence. Call Nando on 07870 577 512. I'm yet to use him but when I spoke to him he seemed like a top guy and a mate of mine highly recommends him. He's near shepards bush somewhere...
