Who did your headwork matey? What is the actual difference in terms of driving between KR and ABF inlet cams? Im not going to lie, i dont understand this lift and overlap business lol. Also, J was telling me not to bother with the 50mm inlet, what kind of difference would i notice with it? I dont mind losing some low down power (my rado spends half its time about 4k anyway lol) but like J live in london and do tend to do lots of low speed driving so dont want to make the car undrivable! Oh, my cars a 9a btw, going to be running a decat, 2 box system soon. Not sure on the bore of the zorst though :confused4: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH, last question, how much power is the decat worth realistically speaking? Would i actually notice the difference? I dont want to decat and take the risk of a 1k fine if i get caught and have mot hassles for no reason other than avoid scraping it everywhere lol. Nirro in Barking are bloody good, proper nice bunch of lads who have been reliable everytime me and my mates use em. Never had to use em yet with the corrado so dont know what they're like with older cars! I cant remember how much they charge per hour but its around 50-60 quid i think... Abdul

Has anyone used one of these on their valver? Thinking of getting one but not sure if there's any point tbh. Its costing me the same as drilling the airbox and dropping in a K&N pannel jobby so thats not a problem. Just wanted a small review really to see if its worth it. And yes i have searched!! J, i hate the infinitys mate, midbass is poor and muddled and the tweeters are harsh to the point where i felt like facing them backwards so they fire into the doorcard in my mates car lol. But you can make anything sound good. Its all down to your installation. Seriously, purchase some sound deadening of some sort and let me fiddle with your eq. Id still advice an amp aswell, they'll always sound sloppy otherwise imo. Amp em up and watch your music come to life!! 8) Junkie: I was thinking of using the smaller amp i have for my tweets/horns but 160rms per tweet is excessive lol. :lol: 3 way one day, just cant be arsed with the hastle of setting it up to sound right!

Rainbows or the like should suffice, id go with DLS though but its all down to taste. Tbh i really wouldn't have bothered with the pods unless your putting in some really nice components or you paid piss all for the pods (250 new right?). Deaden your doors and amp up any speakers you have, a 4 channel amp can be had for as little as 50 quid (Cheaper if u want shite stuff). Oh and SQL quality wont exist regardless of the speakers you use unless you use a seperate amp but thats another story! EDIT: Before anyone questions this ill answer any possible questions myself. You really need good midbass output to have any half decent sq, midbass wont be powerfull and clear with 25 odd rms going into the speakers (on music you can make that 15-20 watts rms). Midbass is your friend. Its the bass frequencys that are really drowned out by road noise so more power and deadening will help lots! The mid and high frequencys on the other hand dont dissapear so easily and can be adjusted to suit with either your EQ or with different tweeter positioning. My 6.5"s in my polo were recieving 160 RMS each side. I kept my sub off half the time when just doddling about trying to be discreet lol! Oh and just because im really proud of this :lol: , too keep up with my new SQL needs, im going to give the mids i have ready for when i get a Rado 310rms per side. Lets see how long they last :D Just my 2 pence buddy. Abdul :)

Did u fit the engine yourself mate? Everyone i speak to says 5k drive in drive out for an r32 conversion and 2k for a 2.9 Vr..

The R32 conversion costs too much mate, more than double that of the VR conversion... just not possible being a student and what not! Whats next for your Rado?

Awesome work mate, car looks great! I'm looking to do the exact same thing to a valver as soon i sell my polo! I might have to rethink the colour now though!! By the way, did u declare the Vr conversion to insurance?
