Feck me thats expensive, my personal situation is kind of hanging in the balance at the mo and the rado might have to go... I've got a full storm beige interior minus the cards and heated loom so i might just do the same thing and break it up and stick it on the bay....

RCA's are pretty good ones actually but even then, in the 5 cars ive owned i've done the same thing and never had any problems. :D

Right ok, jus for reference, i've got 3 rca's cable run right next to 2 guage and 4 guage power cable and have no problems. I'd say its your earth. Find a better point in the boot, sand it down and secure. If that doesn't work, earth your rca's and if that fails earth your headunit to another point. If all the above fails burn your corrado and buy a new one lol

Chrome powdercoat? Not exactly chrome but more a really high shine bright silver... Easy maintenance too. Pics of bora please lol, If I bother to modify my rado like the last one I want some classics!

Are they original Lm's? If so, you got a good deal i reckon, the price difference between the real thing and the fakeys is like the difference between an 8v and a vr... ALOT lol

I really, really want to take your VRN, make and model and e-mail the details to their local intelligence officer (LIO) and make sure that every patrol in that county has your description. Safe. Innit. Well you come across like a right prick innit. :lol: See i can imagine being pulled by you would be a feckn nightmare as i'm usually very polite and compliant with the police etc but you do get guys who take the piss and think they own the f*ckin road, that's when some people who don't like being spoken down to retaliate and speak back in a disrespectful manner as i just did above. :luvlove:

In my 3 years of driving i've been pulled 5 times, once in my polo, once in my audi, twice in my valver and once in the vr, all of which were 'routine' stops. Everytime i was on my own cruising at sensible speeds, mind you, i must say on 3 of the occasions the coppers have been sound. :) Fulltimejunglist, get some stretch tyres, roll your arches and drop it another inch or so? 8)

Rado's looking goot Matt, shame about the scratches, they might not completely dissapear with a good machine polish but they will blend in with the paint alot better, if you get it done by someone who knows what they're doing they'll measure your paint levels etc before polishing it. Even then you should get away with polishing if its OE paint no problems.

Adaptors, i believe those will borbets will be off a jap car? Have a look on edition38 for adaptors, though once adapted you'll be looking at et10ish probably which wont fit without skinny tyres and rolled arches. Corrado vr6's are 5x100, 16v's and g60's are 4x100.

NICE, i want!! Same engine as my old mk3 i think, with those mods should be on about 130+bhp right?? Get an open air filter on there if u want cool turbo sounds lol, helps make booting it a bit more encouraging!

Ive never been in a stock VR that pulls hard above 6k tbh, sounds about right. Mine pulls hard till 6 then tails off till redline. Get aftermarket cams if u want more top end poke. I do.

Pretty much what everyone has said with the attitude thing. At the sam time, i dont see why i shouldnt be annoyed if i get pulled over without reason. Luckily ive never been pulled by nobplod. If and when i've been pulled for no aparent reason they've kindly explained that it was a routine stop etc (even though it clearly isn't) so i just let em get on with their checks and comply. Keeps em shut to be honest. Having said all that, some coppers are actually nice guys who give a crap and don't abuse their powers.

Depends on what u think is usable really? How much ground clearance do u need? How wide are your wheels and what tyres will you run? I'd say get coilovers either way so you can always raise/drop it as you please.

I don't agree with this, I reckon if u got a dent man to pull the dents you'd be looking at 6k+ eeeeasy!!! Nice car, decent milage. full stop, 6k, dream on :wave: 4k asking price, expect offers around 3K 40k is piss low, I'd pay that if I had the cash, how many 40k, family owned, near enough mint vr's do u know of? I'm sure someone after a mint oem corrado would pay 5k for it at least. All about finding the right buyer with these cars. Oh and if that's just decent mileage what would you say was good? FYI, a local chap sold his vr with 56k on the clock, same condition etc for £4900 which is what I based my valuation on.

Whats rusting mate? Tbh, i'd get whatever needs paint taken down to bare metal then painted.
