I think you'll want to speak to Davidwort about this... He knows his way around the valvers.... From what i understand KR's are the best to go on a standard 9a but your's is fettled so i have no clue!!

Mines fine too, my old valver was alot more stable with high speed cornering etc but it was much stiffer and had better tyres. I'd take a look at your bushes swell if I were u.

In that case i'd go with a pioneer Kev, they sound great and are priced well. You can have the ipod leave going to the glovebox or the cubby hole under the ash tray if u like. As far as comps, budget? Also, are they going to be amped at all? Im assuming this will be a sub-less install.

Kev, i've no experience with that unit but i did have a pioneer bluetooth unit with ipod/usb connectivity etc and it was superb, sounded great for the money and the phonebook features worked well. You can get one for about £150 new. As for components, do you have any deadening in your doors? Are the speakers going to be amped? If so i'd deaden the doorskin and the doorcard (upto you how far you go) and get some audioscapes and run 6.5's as the midbass will be superior. If you just want a set of drop in 5.25" comps what is your budget? SPL D comps are well rated budget comps. As for anything closer to and above £100 it depends on your sound preferences, you know how many variables affect the sound!

I agree about Shell. I personally like the BP ultimate they serve at BP on the A406 after chingford. I can actually tell the difference. My local esso is crap, diluted petrol i call it.

That should be your perfect solution though not much OE shaft to trim... standard length doesn't exactly impress the ladies :norty: :lol: :lol: :lol: neither does smaller id imagine I think ill give mine the chop tommorow... I might just take off half an inch or so to begin with.... will report back here.

See i've driven a vr with a B&M and found the side to side movement was way to short and it was really notchy. I actually like how much the stock shift travels from side to side, its just that the throw is rediculous. Thanks though Dom.

As above really, been doing some reading etc and would really like a shifter kit that shortens the throw but not the side to side movement. I know someone on the forums used to make the kit. Anymore still about? Abdul

I've heard the cheap raceland ones are nearly as good. That is extortionate amounts of money considering the gains.
