drove it for the first time in two weeks ,,,god it feels good,, :luvlove: :grin:

iv left mine parked on my g freinds drive as theres no way im using it in this weather ,,realy not worth it ,,

ye iv measured how far my wheels actualy poke and its only 15mm so i think il get some 2.5"dishes made for the rears and a touch more -camber and that will solve that problem ,for now tho im puttin my mates a4 avant 16s on with 50 profile tyres gonna look realy bad but its only until i get the cabby sorted :norty:

was a proper impulse buy mate ,,saw it with a couple of hours left and it was local .. on the rado front ,,im thinkin of widening the rear arches a touch as i got done for my wheels poking :nono: want to keep them factory looking so wats the best way to do it??

with the weather cooling down a fair bit iv decided to put the rado away for the winter shortly,,will be fitting new bushes and sorting a few issues .. wilst havin a quick look on ebay i came accross a mk1 gti cabby (cheap!!)so stuck a cheaky bid on it and ended up winning :clap: my first thoughts were to use it as parts for my mk1 project but when i went to pick it up i found it was pretty much mint!!only problem was it has a bad missfire :( so got it to my bosses farm and its sitting there till i pick up a new engine nxt week and get it mot ed.. heres a pic. this is now gonna be my winter daily,,then c if to break it when the rado goes back on the road.

vents look good mate !!new rado doesnt look too bad either :D

they have the same rear section but the lense and black surround are deeper..

iv seen them in the flesh and they are plenty bright enough..and look very neat,, 8)

not sure whats best but i have changed mine to coilpack obd1 engine and had to replace all engine loom from fuse box ,,not fun as you have to remove the servo but im glad i did it,,

:? i didnt think i did anything differant in my raddo than any other car but reading this i realised i do loads ,,like getting in without sitting on the bolster ,wait and pray warning lights go out,open both windows a few inches (but never all the way down :nono: )watch peoples reaction as i drive thro town ,,have a keen eye on the road for bumps potholes ect. always waight for oil temp and im often found looking out my house window to see it on the drive :luvlove:

im interested in a set of these plates ,my tyres always rub on the front edge of the arch,,

front?? mine is standerd under bonnet in this ,,but my 20vt one with smooth bay was going to use a citron single wiper motor (very small so can be hiden) and just remove the rear one :D

i had to do that^^ b4 when i got my old mk3 vr,,2 wheels not fun,, had to park my rado up 2day until wednesday when i can tax it :(

id also like to know were to get a good touch up stick :D for mine,,will do for a temp fix..

no mine are U S spec mushroom leather,,had the electric seatbelts when i got them but wasnt complete so had to fit normal belts :( deffo get some film to protect those indicators..and fresh paint would be :luvlove:

glad youve got it back mate ,,but thats a massive first bill :pale: hope you have better look with it from now on :D my bonnet looks the same as urs thats why it nearly always has the bra on., just get some yellow lamin x and some 16"splits ,,then we could be twins :lol:
