You know the bit on top of the rocker cover with the VW badge on and VR6 written on? Is that metal or plastic?? Cant be assed going out to my car to look. If its metal can you buy polished ones? If its plastic I can just get it painted, much easier

I want stainless polished bits for my engine bay, where is best to buy them from? Also, 3corsameal, how exactly did you clean up the manifold with the Dremel? Worth buying one then??

My Rado was advertised as FSH and sure enough it has, done by VW dealers up til 2004, then by a Porsche specialists and then by my work. Also have a very large stack of reciepts with it. Its been given a very good going over at work and all seems to be true, lost of new parts and seems very well looked after. Will all this add to the value if I ever sell it?

Want to upgrade but keep the original sizes so dont have to cut holes in stuff. Anyone know what size the door speakers and rear speakers are please???

Sound good times them!! The drag strip at York, is that the one where they hold rally stages sometimes?? If it is I was shocked at the condition of it when went to watch rallying, Santa Pod is 100x better

Going to have a do at gettin the engine lookin all shiny and clean. Anyone got any tips for polishing the rocker cover and inlet manifold?? Ive been told Autosol is very good?

Very nice! I want to do a Lambo day. I bought Mrs Rat a rally driving day for Valentines day. She gets to drive a Polo to learn bits in, then a rally spec Impreza and a rally spec Evo 8, then gets a flying lap in a rally Focus. She LOVES Evo's so she was well impressed with this haha

What a charitable man. Support your local pikeys! :salute: I actually do. My local ones are sound as. A bit ago some lads filled 2 big jerry cans with fuel at my work and ran of without paying. Some pikeys came in moments later, helped us chase them, got it back and gave the lads a beatin haha -
