-
gonna give this a crack, found an a4 cup holder on ebay for cheap...
-
ah i like your thinking! will have to discuss that with CCW. THe mirrors bits and rear plinth would look awesome gloss black...
-
well strips are coming off anyway for the resto so I think I'll just make sure they are taken off with care so that they aren't too bent to maybe put back on at a later date. Other things to consider colour coding wise.... door handles? rear number plate plinth? The black part of the wing mirrors? out of all those complete colour coding of the mirrors is most appealing. Anyone done this? have any pictures?

side strips back on or leave off? loved them on my previous C, which was red, broke up the light colour. I'm thinking on this darker colour that maybe they don't have as much of a visual effect? Its only been gone since monday morning but I really miss her :-(

I used brake cable bits from a knackered bike. Works better than the original
-
dropped her off at the bodyshop on monday!
-
i'm going but won't have got the car back from the bodyshop in time. Anyone going to Dorset Volksfest?
-
Amazing! The only thing that annoys me about the corrado has just been solved!
-
This weekend I took the old and very rusty springs and dampers of her and fitted with some nice new coilovers. Nothing fancy as I want to put it on bags next year. Ride is surprisingly good. Also replace the mounts front and rear while we there. manky: shiney: Also drained the gearbox oil and refilled with redline mt90. Dropped it to the bodyshop today, will be there for the next 3 weeks so will post updates when I have them!

this has got me very excited about my respray, mines in for a full resto starting next monday!

yeah should fit, though brushless is heaps more fun and lipo batteries much easier to maintain (IMO) The cheap car you found after buying this and everything else is gonna be about £150 http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__41129__Turnigy_TrackStar_Waterproof_1_10_Brushless_Power_System_3000KV_80A_UK_Warehouse_.html better off with these that only require a lipo to finish http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__73938__H_King_Sand_Storm_1_12_2WD_Desert_Buggy_RTR_UK_Warehouse_.html http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__56431__1_10_Quanum_Skull_Crusher_2WD_Brushless_Monster_Truck_RTR_UK_Warehouse_.html http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__77897__1_10_Quanum_Vandal_XL_4WD_Monster_Buggy_RTR_UK_Warehouse_.html

black carpet cleaned this weekend, got the old rug doctor on the case, came out well three bucket fulls of this came out of it! This week mostly prepping ready for the bodyshop on monday, this includes fitting coilovers and new top mounts front and rear so we can get the height right so arches can be pulled to accomodate the wheels and my desired lows.

only a small update but progress nonetheless, old gear gaiter knackered, though these were leather but clearly not! new one fitted and this time actual cow!
-
i have a Quanum Toxic Nitro buggy from there, great quality for the price. The above does need radio gear and a battery dont forget..
-
This is my other mini me. Originally a pure Tamiya TT-01 touring car, I have upgraded the chassis to carbon and among many other mods fitted a brushless electric motor. This thing is the fastest I have, quicker than my nitro cars. In fact its too quick and scares the bejesus out of me. I put drift tyres on to make it semi usable!
-
if anyone wants to get into this cheaply try http://www.hobbyking.com they have a uk warehouse which has some of the stock in. some really cheap - but good - i can testify to that - kit there...
-
i did that when i put them on mine. the way the decals curve suggests that is the right way!
-
first kit I had was a Tamiya Falcon, always wanted a tamiya lunchbox, which i duly got when they re-issued them. I have many cars, will post some more pics!
-
its two speed but 2nd gear isnt engaging properly at the moment, much like my full size one!!
-
i don't think they do unfortunately
