Mine did something like this, found a dry solder on the fuel pump relay. Worth a look 8)

I found this a while back but with a corresponding blue male plug next to it. Did the unthinkable and connected them :eek: ....... the spoiler stopes working !! Unplugged them and everything went back to normal thank :censored: If it ain't broken ....

I know there are more than a few threads on here re gearboxes for G60s and I've read through a few and ended up quite confused. What I'm looking for here is a no nonsense straight forward laymans answer.... I've got around £600 and I'm looking to replace/upgrade/recondition the gear box and clutch on my 1.9ltr G60 ( the rebuild was only 20,000 ago as detailed below but the gear/clutch is standard). First gear has been difficult for a while and reverse can be cunchy. What are my options at this price ? Thanks in advance for your time and advice :D

I drove Fire Appliances for years and never had the time to consider who was following me, let alone the time to stop en route and have a word with them. Was there a tone there ? I'm either on the ambulances or rapid response vehicles (police spec volvos). You should always consider who's behind you (checking mirrors every 10 secs) and if when on the way to an emergency I spot a crash due to this stupidity then I'm duty bound to stop and deal with it or risk losing my licence to practice medicine.

People stop: right next to traffic islands forcing us onto the wrong side of the road On blind corners Ontop of hills The first place they can but without any thought for the line of cars behind them who are now stuck out in the Middle of the road Or they pull over slightly and then keep rolling forward gradually closing the gap we're aiming for. You'd be amazed how many people suddenly panic when they eventually see us as if we've crept up on them in a huge dayglow yellow truck covered in flashing lights and sirens wailing !! We used to have fog horns but the powers that be took them off us as we were "using them aggressively". We did refer to them as the f#ck off button though :grin: Strangely people on the opposite side of the road tend to pull over even when our side is clear too. :shrug: One more rant would be that if there are 2 lanes (duel carriage way or not), highway code states pull over to the left hand side. I once pushed a novelty bendy pencil all the way up my nose and only stopped when it looped round and down and triggered my gag reflex :gag:

The rattle is not always there and revs don't change the sound. Happens when driving and if I then dip the clutch and rev it it doesn't happen. The engine was rebuilt less than 20000 miles ago :confused4:

Got a weird metallic rattle coming from drivers side (I think) engine area when accelerating ( not parked up and revving ). Any ideas on cause ? I'm guessing gear linkage but would appreciate suggestions.

I'm pretty sure it was £500 for the rebuild (mine is already stage 5 :norty: )

I did a 4 hour round trip and waited while it was done :) mines my daily so nooo way I can do without.

Hello m8, my guess is you're about to have 50 replies saying G-Werks and 5 saying Jabba Sports :? Personally I wouldnt let anyone touch my charger but G-Werks. Check out their website, Darren there is Mr G60 :notworthy: and does just about every mod you could want.

Which would be cooler though ? modern stealth lights or one of those police squad stlye domes where you lean out the window and stick it to the roof :D

I'm a paramedic and have the option of getting my G60 blue light fitted 8) (so long as I sign on for a few hours on my days off when they're down on crews. Unfortunately they won't pay for parts/wear and tear and I have a sneaking suspicion I'd go through a few tyres etc :norty: )
