  1. I've got a shroud with a motor included and the fans attached available.
  2. Sold. Good luck with the project fella. Nice to meet you.
  3. Since I've sold the car I no longer need these. Brand new. £70 located Rotherham/Sheffield/Liverpool. Cheers
  4. Something else gone, does someone not want to make me an offer on the wheels? Could really do with them gone and its looking the tyres could be handy with the weather we are having.
  5. I'll have another look for the centre cap but don't think I've got it.
  6. I would have done last year when I needed one and could only source a manual one! I had to butcher a manual one to sort it out so someone with an auto would be glad of this.
  7. I've got one in the garage but not sure if its off a golf so wouldn't fit a corrado. It has a crack in it anyway, I wanted it for the strip which I think is in good nick but could not work out how to get it off in one piece. I can get a picture if anyone is interested.
  8. Will pm you with one. I'll dig it out tomorrow and get it weighed etc. Sam
  9. I'm getting someone a postage quote for it already but if it falls through I'll let you know. Sam
  10. The purple one? Yeah it might have been, I have cut some and thought I'd taken all those out.
  11. Hi all, After selling the car I've got a few bits surplus to requirements. Collection preferred from Rotherham/Sheffield, but postage can be arranged at buyers expense. Set of vr Speedlines, these were powder coated a few years ago in silver. The pictures are recent but in low light in the garage. Its just muck on the second picture which I didnt notice until I got home from taking them. They are still in very good condition, the odd tar spot but no kerbing or anything silly. I have only managed to find three centre caps unfortunately but I'll keep looking for the other one. I used the ones from my other set of wheels anyway. The tyres are Hankook icecept and have around 5mm of tread left I believe, maybe more. I know its the wrong time of year to sell these but some boy scout may want to be prepared for winter! £300. Passenger side fog light, no cracks and in very good condition. £80 SOLD Drivers fog light, cracked but still worked. Might be of some use to someone, no loom for this either. £20 SOLD Set of late clocks, unknown mileage but tested and working £45 Fan controller. £25 TPS £5 SOLD Interior clock loom. £20 Set of Yellow Koni suspension for VR6. Comes with the Koni red springs, have been painted black for some reason by a previous owner. Not covered a lot of miles as far as I know. Operate as they should with no signs of leaks or damage. Only pictures of the rears so far as the fronts are not at home at the moment. SOLD Set of standard suspension. Rear shocks are Monroes. Done a few miles but might useful to someone. £20 Various coolant pipes. Some Samco but mostly standard, not a full set. £50. SOLD Cheers for looking, Sam
  12. Not 100% as its a few years since I looked into this myself when I nearly moved out there but I think you have to be a permanent resident to import a car with you. Also you have to have owned it for 2 years previously. We were going to take our Corrado and my polo out there if we'd have gone.

    Thankyou

Another 'I've sold up' thread I'm afraid but I just wanted to say thanks to the forum. This place is invaluable to anyone with a Corrado. So much info on how to do things and source bits etc. I've had some good days out on corrado events too. The day at Shelley Walsh hillclimb, and the Corrado stand at Stanford a few years back spring to mind immediately. We would have had the Corrado 8 years next month and we are very sorry she's gone. The wife (who's car she was) has moved onto a Mk1 TT 3.2, which in a lot of ways is a sort of natural progression from the Corrado. The gearbox (its a dsg) and the comfort levels have certainly moved on which is what tempted her into it as its her daily driver. She's just cried buckets watching it drive away and doesn't think the TT is anywhere near as cool or as good looking as the Corrado which I would have to agree with. Anyway I might be back one day, I wouldn't mind a nice stock G60 one day, I've got a lot of history with G Laders. Anyway thanks to anyone who has helped us out or sold us bits along the years. I've got a few bits to get rid of I'll advertise in the next few weeks. Bye Barbara and thanks a lot! Its been emotional.
  14. 94 Corrado VR6 for sale Blackberry 160k 5 former keepers current owner since 2008 Mot until 08/16 and all MOT's since 99 Full service history with loads of receipts Automatic transmission Full black heated leather Timing chains replaced at 110k in 09/09 by DG Autotech Head gasket and top end rebuild done at 138k in 03/13 FK Konigsport coilovers with the front Koni shocks rebuilt around 3k miles ago. Full Magnex stainless steel exhaust Mk4 rear calipers TT wipers Recent Toad A1606 alarm fitted 09/15 New radiator 11/14 New ht leads and coil pack 05/15 Aircon which does work but doesn’t get very cold so could do with a regass Delocked door handles Bad bits As is usual with a car of this age there are a few faults The temp guage goes up to 90 degrees as soon as the ignition is turned on There is a chip on the rear bumper from a parking ding The car has a water leak, I think this is coming from the radiator elbow. The heater direction controls don’t work properly (go to windscreen and feet), if you undo the bowden cables the controls still function but the bowden cables need adjusting at the heater box end. Apart from the above the spoiler, sunroof etc all work as they should. We have owned this car since 2008 and still love driving it but its time to move on. The car is located in Rotherham not far from junction 33/34/35 of the M1. £2500
  15. Mine arrived yesterday and I've just opened it up. First Otto model and its lovely. Not standard ride height though are they! :-)
  16. Fk are a nightmare to deal with so I don't think you'll get very far there, I did try myself some time ago. I had my front Koni's rebuilt by SP in spalding. It took ages though, and I mean months. I can't remember how long exactly but it was between 6-9. He was waiting for ages for a new piston from koni themselves. I didn't mind that so much it was the lack of comms that was the annoying bit, he did a good job though and only charged me cost price for everything because it took so long.
  17. I loved how it took two of them to open the bonnet, we have to do with our cable. Really enjoyed it though, nice to see one on the tele. I think it came across really well.
  18. Well I've just bought an S1 Elise so we have two of the list on the drive. There are a few others on there that I think will forever be out of reach unfortunately though.
  19. Sorry having read that again I didn't say what I meant, have you got a picture of the car with it fitted but the removable bit off. Can you see much of it when the end part is removed? Cheers
