I phoned vw and they said there is 2 sizes for the defroster clable , so i got both it looks like a push pull action on that dial. 575 mm? and a shorter one , sound right ? on order from the mother land :D I hope it all works after fitting my box that fits the flaps in seams fine , not sure about the cog will look in to that at fitting time. and i might have a fucked defroster dail (see pic)so i got a 2nd hand one of them , it looks better than mine , no lights in mine makes it hard to see it in the dark , and i will make it work on all 4 fan settings.
