Hampshire police have a brand new black RS4 Audi as an unmarked patrol car. Saw it twice on the M27 yesterday with its blues and twos on at a couple of accidents. Lucky gits driving that all day!!

We decided to ditch the Saab, The Saab was taken away tonight, on its way to Tilbury to be shipped off to Eastern Europe!!! They gave us £150 for it, so all evens on that one. Otties are holding up well, but I havent used them through the last two winters, so they have not seen salt. Got a couple of small curb rashes, I plan on stripping the Laquer off the outer rims at some point and keeping them hand polished. Easier the fix small curb rashes then, the penalty of having a slight stretch!

I promise it will work with the all red rears!!!

Took some pics at the weekend, have just had the front bumper and the rear numberplate surround painted. Those that had seen my front bumper will know its was very overdue a fresh coat. Will be sorting out my all red lenses for the rear this weekend if we get some sun. They should go nicely with the colour coded numberplate surround. Currently running without a mocal cooler as I couldnt get one the other weekend. Its amazing how much cooler it runs with the cooler. Great to be driving it again after 7 months of it resting on the drive. It seems to be running better than ever, feels really strong, maybe down to having an ecu reset due to the battery coming out. Just uncovered the C from its winter sleep. Booked in for an mot tomorrow, so popped round the block a couple of times to clear it out for tomorrow. Opened the bonnet to find oil everywhere, blinking mocal oil cooler has developed a leak while resting over the winter. Its the core that has gone, so will have to source a new one first thing in the morn, whip off the bumper and get it all swopped over before the MOT. Bummer was hoping to get a lay in tomorrow!

Thats not good Steveo, epecially when Venesa is still there, wouldnt expect that at all.....time to move on to groove on.....

Sure have lost a lot of Knowledge. Wonder where Alan has gone, bound to be still working in the area somewhere. Maybe setting up again.

Popped in to Auto's a couple of weeks ago. Yes they do have new owners. Vanessa still works there. But Alan has now departed. The new owners seemed friendly. Dont know about prices though.

thats enough keeping it secret iow! Got the head off the saab yesterday, all is looking fine. It would seem that the gasket was replaced not so long ago, but whoever tightened the head bolts didnt do them up very well as they took minimal effort to undo and the gasket didnt have any huge failiures. Need to check the head for flatness before going any further.

for cosmetics how about getting a polished stainless steel sheet bent up that would sit within the u section. Attach it to just the top and rubber gasket it at the bottom. It would then not add any stiffness but would cover up the anti roll bar your trying to hide! Second thoughts why not get it all chromed and then just paint the inside of the U and the anti roll bar black Gloss. Whould look just fine for the amount it is seen.

The mirror twists off, you will then find the metal lug is left on the screen. Cut a hole in your new sunstrip for the metal lug and stick on using lots of water and fairy liquid. Squeegy the water out, dont worry about a few small bubbles as the water will dry out and the bubbles will disappear with time.

not bad is it, mot runs to oct 24th, so no need for an mot, which is good. Just hope there are no suprises when we do the head gasket! Come on, what ya got???
