  1. GS&F do W6DPO for £9.25 + VAT
  2. I borrowed this off Vortex... Its much easier if you remove the driver side tire and inner wing well. This will provide you with more room to negotiate. 1. You will have to loosed the first belt. There are three bolts, one to tighten the belt and the other two hold the power steering pump. The last two bolts would be accessible from the oil filter side. Once this is loose, you can remove the belt. 2. Disconnect the power steering pump and let it hang out of the way. 3. There is an aluminum bracket that must be removed. There are two bolts from underneath. Remove those and take the bracket out of the way. This will expose the water pump. Now loosen the clamp on the hose and drain the coolant. then remove the two bolts from the water housing. Note: This housing is made from plastic and may crack or break over time. So be gentle or have an extra handy. Better yet, get an aluminum one from a late 80s Golf or jetta. You will need your original hi-temp thermostat and a new O-ring. Remove the housing and the low-temp will most likely fall out. Install the original in the same manner as the low-temp. Then proceed backwards to install everything back up. Fill your system with new Phosphate free coolant and distilled water.
  3. My best mate works as an engine builder for Prodrive and he says that the UK spec impreza's engines are inferior to the Jap spec. The water jackets are weaker and number three big end is infamous for failing
  4. Super wide 16's look great and those arches, mmmmmmmm!
  5. Cheers Dude, although the PDF's on the homebase server cannot be found :( The url's try and load from a "Shopping Cart" path which results in a 404
  6. Does anyone know of a site which has a list of all the Corrado G60/VR6 + Storm specs in terms of available colours, trim levels, optional extras etc. or a PDF of the original VW Corrado brochure? Cheers Scott
  7. Where does the belt connect to? The P/S pump? Does your powersteeing belt squeal at all? If it's the pulley I'm thinking of then it sounds like the p/s pulley is worn. I think the pulley on my car is a bit buckled causing the belt to slip.
  8. Is this the thread you were looking for - http://corrado.atx-hosting.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=939
  9. You'll either need to cut the lip slightly or drop the exhaust and remove the shifter mech from underneath
  10. Here's the half smoked In-Pro lights Couldn't find them on eBay though
  11. I'm looking at getting a schrick cam for my G60. Either the Assymetrical 268°/276° or the symmetrical 268°. Which one would you recommend? Where in the range would I see benefits for each cam? I don't want top end power as I won't be revving over 6000rpm
  12. Apparantly it should say 3.5 on it Check this - http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=463394
  13. I'll definately want one. Might be worth double checking that they are 3.5 as I've heard many a time of people ordering one and it ending up as the 2.5 one
  14. I've dealt with LV as a third party, no problems at all, they organised everything (Hire car, repairs etc)
  15. I bought a B&M one, but it's nothing like the one in the picture. I think they used to make one like the picture, but realised that the Mk3 etc one would fit a Corrado so discontinued it. Shame as it does look smart. When I fit my VW Racing shifter I'll be selling mine, I havn't even used the B&M one yet  as my car's off the road
  16. I too bought a G60 one at inters from GPC (£11) and my local dealer cut it for free for me :) Last time I was at GPC they had them on a board, give 'em a call or wait for the shows
  17. I suppose another use is for those who want to remove the boost return to allow dual intakes
  18. Is this the same as a 'Giro' valve? If so dosen't it just prevent boost returning back into the ISV which could damage it, therefor why would you not see any benefits? Feel free to correct me if I am wrong
  19. Here is the actual page http://www.bahnbrenner.com/acatalog/G60 ... Parts.html
  20. It comes out on the second Thursday of the month
  21. Where can you get these windage trays from?
  22. I hope he brings it to inter's this year as he bought a SEAT Ibiza last year
  23. I've just ordered one along with a lower temp fan switch - my engine overheated and warped the head, so I'm not taking any chances.
  24. I thought the G60 one is 87 and the VR6 one is 80 So If you've done the reverse swap then I guess they fit :D
