I had a Mk1 golf GTI back in my youth that had a set of fast road cams in. One of the best cars I think I've ever owned. Well it was back when I had it, and I would always leave every thing on the road for dust up to a ton. I would love another Mk1 golf, good luck with the hunt for a Corrado, and the sell of your Golf -

On race cars, the smaller the diameter the bore of the master cylinders, the stiffer the pedal, but the greater effort required. So if you require a stiffer pedal, get a master cylinder that's smaller that the OEM one.

what part do you have from Jordan GP ? I work for Sahara Force India F1, and still have access to the old Jordan drawings and could fine out what it was made from. As for titanium parts, I'll have a scout about at work for something that you may be able to use, but I can't promise anything.
