Nah, it's the shot of the the sills on the living room floor, I presume! Car looks immaculate of course! :D
-
Ka`, Nice sill plates, but think you need a Dyson! :D

Watching BBC3 now, about A and E Dept. at Royal London Hospital.....cut to inside shot of Ambulance, crew grabbing a snack, call comes in to go to a woman giving birth....cut to outside shot of Ambulance...pulls away lights flashing / siren on.....and all I can think is, hmm, nice looking Dragon Green VR pulling out behind the Ambulance over there! I need help  :?

Yep, read about this in the Press recently, not sure how it works, but they always offer to over-pay, human nature being what it is people get involved and get very ripped off.
-
Say youl'l do a swap if she sleeps with you....then keep the Corrado!

A good point worth considering. The lecky window switch location on the early C's isn't great!

Having so many sticky topics kills discussion in this forum
kvwloon replied to spoier's topic in Suppliers Forum
Agreed, stickies are there for good reason, I don't see how they get in the way of any discussion myself. Just look at the 'posts since last visit', easy! But hey, it's an opinion, and we're all entilted to that! -
must admit i'd love to own one of the original UK-launch/press ones especially in tornado red 8) Ah, one of those went on Ebay not long ago.....as for the rest of the thread, refer to my signature too  You can see them either knowing what you mean, or thinking either oh, a Cordoba, a Corrolla, or a Scirrocco. Worst I got was from a friend who always called it a Capri, just to wind me up. Female though, so she was allowed, just!

skimask, I have oil pressure gauge in my 1.8 16v, once fully warmed up needle hovers at 1 Bar at idle, obviously going higher as you rev it. Never goes below 1 Bar when warm and idling, if that's any help.

That's v. funny. ! Fully researched the car before you bought it then?! Am I the only one who occasionally glances at the driver of the car behind when the spoiler is going down, just to see if they notice it moving? :?
-
Best advice I have ever seen is on the side of matchboxes ....'Keep in a dry place and away from children' I always try to!
-
Personally speaking....bumper's OK, but not the other modst! Nice and clean though.
-
Really fills you with hope for the future doesn't it! :|
-
....agreed, (mind you I am biased), often surprised by how well the 1.8 16v just flies! 8)

David Winter, Yep, kind of reminds me of the one poor review the Corrado has on the 'peachorlemon' website, because the guy bought a probably uncared for example, had to replace consumable parts (i.e pads / discs/exhaust), and then dinged a wing when driving it, so then puts a bad review up against the Corrado! Hardly the cars fault, and who hasn't had to replace brake/exhaust parts on any car......frustrating is one word!
-
...that's brilliantly put , nice one! If anyone wants a boring cheap reliable car, buy a Mundano...happy motoring?
-
....aaah, just the panacea we need to relieve us from 'why you shouldn't buy a Corrado'! .... the only car I have ever kept going out for drives in for no other reason than it's a nice day and driving 'her' is such a pleasure, is a Corrado. Never done it with any other car, ever! 8)

Went from a Mk2 to a Corrado, and they are like chalk and chees. You could sit in the C all day and cruise along. Nice though Mk2's are they, it's not the same driving experience at all. Think you just may have a bit of a lemon there...

Yep, mine normally shows around the 13 volt mark. Only with everything conceivable electrical going will it drop near 12volts. Has the voltmeter got it's own dedicated Earth, if not you might get inaccurate readings! Try running an Earth direct from the gauge to the metal bracket behind the cubby hole if not. Oh, and what's your alternator producing?!

Oh my God, sad, sad, sad. Years behind VW's anyway, ....special 'paint that changes colour in sun-light', come on, VW Golfs in Mars Red have been slowly doing that for years!
-
Looking good! Nice collection of pots at No.17 by the way, although would'n't fancy my chances stumbling up those steps after a few beers on a dark night
-
Nice one! Just a hunch, but I'm guessing you will be screwing the plate on rather than sticking, and using at least one strategically placed black plastic cap!

Apologies for the slightly o/t, but did any one here put their 16v C on the rollers at Inters.....talking of optimistic rollers they had mine reading 183BHP. They even ran it again, and got same result! As far as I know she's standard, some mistake surely (i.e £45 down the pan)
