Wish I had the energy to clean up my bay. Good work keep it up m8

 some of the best roads in country mate LOL That they certainly are m8. I only meant in the quality of the road surfaces though :D Round my personal test route I was 30mph faster in some places with my std suspension than I am now with my Koni/Eibach :?

LOL I didnt mean buy that type of wheel specifically, just trying to show how big 17's look. I agree I nice 5 spoke 16 would probably be the way to go :D
-
If you want 17 inch wheels then I think you are probably best off looking at a set of decent coilovers. I have asked quite a few people on the forum about this and the general consensus is to get some KW Variant 2's circa £700. I live in the Peak district with rubbish roads so it is all about ride quality for me as well. Matt

I have done this before and they don't want to know. My sister even rang them when she was hit by a car full of bloke teens who were all off their heads on weed and they still didnt want to know. Then again the one accident I was involved in that was my fault 4 cop cars turned up, DOH! So after saying all that I guess it is worth a try LOL Glad you got everything sorted it is a stressfull time dealing with insurance companies. Matt

My Schwartz Black VR6 - BMC DIA fitted & on track again

He he always nice to see a Rado getting used to its full potential :D -
Spend a few more beans on some 16's or 17's that you like. Think you will regret the 18's, handling, ride quality and looks wise. Here is a pick of mine on 17's which look small for the size being split rims. However still almost too big for the Rado I reckon.

Leonard's Corrado VR6 - 515bhp 5.9L's twin scroll turbo ;)

Be nice to think that VW would make the effort to cut out any flab and a new C would be a true sports coupe. My Corrado is about the same size as my GF's 5 door Fiesta allbeit a lot lower! Oh well fingers crossed for the future. -
I bought these off Ebay last week. As said above though only one rim has the BBS engraved in Weird...... But very cool 8)
-
That is so cool, just wish I had the skills! Cant wait to see it finished, altho reading about its progress is fun :D

Its different, I like different! Practical to always good! You have put a lot of work into it and it shows. Will look good with the 928's on it

Thanks m8 I do owe the sprayer a big thanks. It is not a perfect job, if anything it probably has too much paint on it LOL But not going to complain as it looks good and I can always have it cut back by a detailer at a later date if I can be bothered. Plus it was done at a sensible price. I didnt really want the car looking like it had been modded, hopefully to the untrained eye it looks stock. The wheels are pretty bling yes, but they are of the same era as the car so..... -

My m8 that works for Harman Kardon (auto division) swears by the Becker head units. Heard his install and it was very impressive.

The modding thing was a bit pointless allbeit entertaining. I mean for £15k you would buy the bloody Renault for the school run and then spend the 10k on a Caterham or well sorted Evo V/VI! -
Oh no I didnt mean to upset you :D :( It will all be good in the end Im sure!

Just the rear, it doesnt sound like catching, it sounds like rubbing. I wonder if with the wheels being slightly heavier they are travelling further into the arch??? They do actually feel mildly more cushioning than the 15's. So that would explain that if they were getting more travel out of the suspension. Only does it when pushed hard so not a great problem, but still... -
Now then now then! You have made that look VERY nice. Good wheel choice m8

Thanks for the kind words m8. If my car is stunning, goodness know's what your car will be when its finished! Orgasmic springs to mind though LOL
