  1. Here you go pic of mine also in Aqua. Was the same as yours pretty much only a few months ago.. Red rear lights Metal Plates De-bump stripped Colour coded grill and number plate surround Clear side repeaters Color coded badges Lowered New wheels (obviously) Shorter aerial Lupo wipers Has Scorpion exhaust like yours which sounds superb with a BMC carbon filter (also fitted) not too loud not too quiet.
  2. I need to know which MP3 player your daughter went for! LOL I wont sleep if not
  3. I bet! I knew the reflectors on the C wouldnt match up with the HIDS's too well. Just couldnt figure out why. Seems simple now
  4. There are some cheapish Aqua blue parts in the classifides m8 ie full boot and bonnet. Would sort a couple of your problems and they are only in Retford so not miles away  Keep up the good work
  5. "The Leon can't be boyracerish; it's got five doors " It is a little boy racer  All sporty SEATs are a little boy racer in nature dont you think :ignore:
  6. Has anyone actually fitted any HID's and had them work 100% on a Corrado yet?
  7. Im confused I thought that: a) it was illegal to fit HIDS without a self levelling device on the headlamps and it would defo fail the MOT b) that the reflectors on the Corrado meant that HIDS dont really work that great anyway :confused4:
  8. As you say I think we are all in the same boat! :brickwall: :cuckoo:  After all the poor old Corrado is getting on a bit now. I think I have probably spent on average £800 a year over the past 7 years and that includes 3 big £1200 service bills. I probably would have spent a lot more as well if I hadnt had a warranty for the 1st two years of ownership. That does not include any mods such as suspension or wheels either. Taking things like that into account I am probably looking at a grand a year. Which when you think about it is not too bad for a car that has depreciated only £4.5k in that time. Thing with Corrado's (and all cars) is you really have to buy the best you can find. If you cant afford a good one then wait until you can. Basically you have three choices Dancing Fish that I can see. Cut your losses and buy a more modern car. Cut your losses and buy a sorted Corrado for £4k plus, or bite the bullet and go long term with your car and look to improve it to top condition over say the next 5 years. Matt
  9. Very good point above! Unless you really REALLY love the car then break it for spares for an easy £1500 Some great Golf V6 4 Motions etc for only £3500 Matt
  10. LOL loving your dedication! Car is lookin spot on, look forward to seeing your seats :D
  11. Looks like the one I was looking at the oother day which was originally listed as Cat D. Still cheap though even if it is Cat D!
  12. I was thinking ah so the GTR aint ALL that then if it cant catch the Lambo. Then I thought hang on you can have 3 GTR's for the price of a Gallardo LOL Great motoring magazine that. Surprised GT2 wasnt a little faster...
  13. LOL Vultures all of you :evilbat:
  14. LOL thanks Leon C is only a play car really as at the mo as I work a mile away from my house. However I do avoid going some places as I dont fancy leaving the C there, during the day or overnight (sad I know) especially as it has just been resprayed. Think I will just have to see what the New Year brings work wise, then make the decision.
  15. LOL Damn you that probably IS the right answer to my dilema. Never was very patient though, hence why I never considered that :D New Years resolution, think I will try for a new job and company car!
  16. Hmmm you dont seem to be getting much of an 'upgrade' for your 5k  If I was in the market for an 11k car I would defo go for a 350Z or if I needed more room and better mpg a Mk5 GTi with DSG and then a Morego conversion. Looking at current TT prices I would have thought you will lose a big chunk of money in depreciation over the next couple of years. Whatever you go for though It will still be a v-nice motor :D
  17. Was thinking how good value 2nd hand motors are at the moment, which got me thinking... Do I finish off my Corrado to how I REALLY want it or do I just have a mintish std car for the weekends and get a second nice motor for everyday? Start with this: Sell this: this: this: this: Not have this tuned: And end up with this: And this!
  18. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm shiny :turn-l:
  19. How about some of these http://cgi.ebay.de/Abt-Z-7x16-Komplettr ... 240%3A1318 Toyed with the idea myself and you find them a lot cheaper other places as well. Nice that these have decent treads on though.
  20. Cheers think I will just order the Philips and be done then Matt
  21. What you on about its LOADS easier to climb Everest with oxygen ;)
  22. Anyone know if the Halfords ones are much different to the Philips ones? ie do you actually notice the difference!
  23. You could just fit the climate control from a golf. Be a bit easier and there are a couple of people on here I think that have the climatronic controls Matt
