Yes just the glass as it has the heating element attached to it which is obviously worth £30....... :cuckoo:
-
Nice one thanks I will try that

I have BMC and K&N panel in std box. I would say BMC gives slightly more power top end K&N more power/torque lower down Overall though I would say the panel filter is the better option, but the BMC just sounds too good! LOL Also if you do go BMC dont bother with cold air feed. I had the headlamp out of mine to test it and it made no difference at all. Matt

Probably under a different part no ie non Corrado one...
-
Yes i guess that could work. Update on VW parts availabilty: Corrado badge and grommets for badge Rear VW emblem VR6 badge front and rear are all unavailable...
-
On the Corrado badge though it has plugs. I was pretty careful with mine but it still snapped. Plastic was very brittle. Probably be able to glue it but..

You need to get yourself to your nearest VW dealer then. Heated ones are around £40 each mind....

Perhaps he is on holiday then Rob, it is possible. If he was indeed going to OZ he is likely to go for at least 3-4 weeks. What did his last email say?
-
How long have you been trying to contact JJ for anyhow?
-
I have to agree. And there should be no nasty repair bills on a year old Beemer or Audi as they are still under warranty for two years and if you must then you can pay another £300 at the end of this and get another years warranty added (or figure this into the initial deal and get them to throw it in for free) At the end of the day you get to drive a nicer car for the same money and quite possibly get more of your money back at the end of your three years running.
-
I agree but you wouldnt get a new shape 330D for £17k  Edited to add not with good spec and low miles anyway.
-
Thats pants. A wide arch, 4wd 300bhp Scirocco would be a whole lot more appealing :D Oh well lets hope a Corrado coupe see's light of day soon with at least 400bhp at circa £35k And here's hoping I have £35k spare LOL
-
Good job! Hav upi got a pic of it in situ?
-
That would be my main problem handing over £21k when you can get a 10k mile 2 year old loaded Golf for £13k. That would leave you enough left over for 4 Corrado's  :D Did you ask about a forthcoming R model?
-
Didnt it really feel any different to the GTi? Apart from the poor visibilty of course
-
Drive the deal is very good for getting best price on a new car from a UK dealer without all the haggling grief. Have to say if it is your own money are you not tempted to get a 1 year old sub 5k mile: BMW 320D or Audi A3 170 S-Line Quattro, A4 S-line etc :confused4: You have everything to gain and only a one year warranty to lose?
-
If you dont mind me asking is this your own money or is it a company car?
-
Perhaps bbslmreps forwarded your email to JJ because he was in charge of the group buy? Just summising..
-
As I understand it this the website has no affiliation with bbs reps though, am I wrong? Who is JJ is he just not the person in charge of the group buy accross three deifferent forums? Or does he or did he indeed work for bbs reps. If it is the latter then that is the only way bbsreps can be held in anyway responsible for your deposit.

That means that the sidewall of the tyre can take a load of up to 500KG (84) and that the tyres are rated up to 167MPH (W)! Mine are 86V (530KG/149MPH). I think the C standard is 'V' rated so u might be able to save urself a few quid in tyres with the lower rating :) The ratings are fairly easy to look up from Google.... Thanks for all your help Si No problem and thank you! :D Just got the Toyos for my new 'summer' wheels in a 205/40/17 for £175 delivered so I won't complain
-
I wouldnt have thought suspension changes would necessitate a change in tyre pressure. Mine is lowered and I still use the recommended pressures depending on load. i check mine quite often as well as I feel the C handles a bit better with harder pressures. If you go for the Toyo the load rating should be more than adequate being a performance biased tyre. Think they are 84W whatever that means!
-
They are all like that so no problem. Yeah try another brand and see how you go. TBH I always go Yoko or Toyo now as for around £50 a corner it is cheap motoring. Plus they grip really well, although wet weather performance is slightly compromised. Just ordered some new Toyo proxes so will be interested to see what they are like. Look like they may be slightly better in the wet than the old T1's Matt
-
Yeah I would say that is fair enough, a little fun never hurt anyone :D Are they wearing evenly? May be worth trying a more premium tyre brand perhaps.
-
How many miles have you done? How hard do you drive? I do 4k a year and mine last almost three years (Yoko's)
