Thats why we dont have Renaults as company cars anymore LOL. Almost laughable that light bulb episode. Unless you own one... :gag:
-
Have you got the vRS as comp cars? The interior is superb! Just about the best seats I've ever sat in 8) TBF no we havent. We have the 'top of the range' 4WD diesel models. Must admit the new VRS seats look a lot better than the old ones. Interior still looks very cheap IMO for a £19k car sorry. I am sure they are kept looking that way to some degree by the VAG group. Which is a shame. Even a decent colour pallet would work wonders.

Proper bargain! Looking good fella, enjoy :salute:
-
Did you try Elephant? They are always really cheap for me. Car on drive, 7 years no claims, 34 years old, all mods declared £290 Matt

Nice job fella. Looking really good. I know how much work it is to sort an engine bay out. Not sure I would have the patience to tackle it again. Matt :salute:

I imagine the Golf would be the sensible new buy. I really dont like the cheap interiors of the Octavia's. We have them as company cars on our work 'fleet' (3 cars :D ) Nice drive though. Had a diesel Leon as a hire car on holiday and bar a couple of cheap looking plastics inside I couldnt fault it. Loved the looks, loved the drive it was great! I would never by one myself :D , but i reckon this would be a cracking drive!

Auto will probabaly be a good buy TBH Easier life I imagine. Matt

Hmmmm I didnt see those. Will have a look when I swap the mechs over. TBH though mate if i was you I think I would just find a second hand spoiler mechanism that is know to be working and put that in. It is such a job taking it out and putting back in that you really only want to do it once! I bought my mechanism for £15 so its not expensive.

Hey I was so chuffed I managed to fix something that I fixed my electric seat switch next and then went on to fix my spoiler! I feel like a proper man now LOL Glad I could help.

Hi mate, as Jude says but the colnago is a C40 with Dura Ace throughout and Ksyrium ES wheels, A fantastic ride it really is and runs rings round people on the descents wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Also the now second best bike is the concorde squadra with columbus genius tubing (very light steel) with Ultegra bits on. and the fort winter commute with all sorts of shimano on and Mavic Aksium wheels and i have an old mountain bike which i dont use that much now unless it snows  How bout you? Very nice! Nice second bike to! LOL. I really want a nice light steel tubed roadie machine. I started off road biking and had a nice Colnago myself. However I got seduced by mountain biking so all my biking has headed that way now. So i have an old Pace RC200 and a Ti Cotic Soda. Do still road bike a bit though so also have a Santa Cruz Roadster and a winter Racelight trainer. Not sure if any of those will mean owt to you :D

Looking good! If I ever get my car finished 100% would be tempted by another daily driver. Dont think I could cope with the worry of yet another Corrado though  Plus I reckon you bought one that is far too nice! You will start polishing a bit here and swapping a bit there... Obviously in your blood. Enjoy anyway P.S What bike/bikes do you ride?

Cheers m8 Yeah I may turn to the bottle to help me get through :drinking:  Are there any meets around Shef? Never really see any Corrado's around near me in Matlock :confused4: -
Update on this. I tried a new microswitch and nothing, didnt make any difference. So plugged in a 'new' spoiler mechanism and that works fine! WOOHOO!!! So going to swap my mechanisms over and then take a good look as to why my original one is not happy. As I said it was fully cleaned and the motor was spotless. Although I am guessing that it does have to be motor related now. May get a new motor and see.
-
Tried a new door handle yesterday and nothing so it isnt the microswitch in the handle. I am thinking it may be the actuator in the drivers door, what does anyone reckon, sound likely?
-
Ok for future help it is fuse no 14. I was just being thick when i couldnt find it...
