  1. LOL Behave! What car did you have at the time? If you somehow have them in a digital format I wouldnt say know no to a copy :D
  2. Noooo where from? Think I will need to keep a good eye on German ebay! They were actually on UK ebay IIRC. There's a business in Rackenheath Norfolk who sell all sorts of VW performance bits and I'm pretty sure it was them. Don't want to upset you but I think they went for about £600. It would be really good to see your car reverted back to how it looked then, the wheels would look fantastic on after the respray :)[/quote:27x5zsyc] Hmmmm thought they may be less LOL Willl keep my eyes peeled though. You are right would look v-nice on with the fresh paint, although I dont think the Futura's will be too bad
  3. Noooo where from? Think I will need to keep a good eye on German ebay!
  4. Yeah I thought that! Bet it was a right beast back in 1995 :D
  5. Still waiting for my car to come back from its respray.... In the meantime I had the original owner of my car contact me about the early history of my motor. It turns out that the ABT spec was all added by him and not specified by the dealer as an alternative to the storm! Gotta love those Chinese whispers LOL The full spec was as follows:- ABT Cup Suspension – based on specially valved Bilstein components with adjustable damping and ride height. £940.00 ABT 7 1/2 x17” Alloy Wheels. £1035 4x Yokhama 215/40/17 AVS Tyres. £693.25 AutoTech Anti Roll Bar Kit 22m Front / 25mm Rear with poly bushes. £ 05.00 ABT Front & Rear Badges Carbon Fibre Glove Box and Centre Console covers. £235.00 ABT Rear Exhaust Box. £412.35 latter changed for a Sebring Back Box in 04/1998 All work was undertaken by Mykoo Motorsports in 06/1995 and this was the spec that I sold the car with aside from the wheels which I took of and replaced with the originals. Only bits remaining on the car now though are the roll bars and interior trim bits :( He took the car to most of the shows around that time including GTI International, GTI Festival etc where it picked up various awards / trophies. It also got a small write up in VW Motorings “GTI Special” No.4 Autumn 1996 in their coverage of the GTI Festival show report where it was class winner. So thankyou very much Mark for getting in contact! :notworthy: Just deciding wether to put it back to this 'original spec' as I quite like it!
  6. Any pics of the interior now :)
  7. Hmmm thanks guy's so is there a recomended way of taking them off? Should i slide a knife under them first?
  8. I am a bit worried about just pulling it off in case anything snaps. Or if it bends so much that it no longer fits flush on top of the door/against the window? Any tips would be appreciated. Also I take it the rear window seal is a professional only job and once out cannot be re-used???? Thanks Matt
  9. I really like them. Pics don't do them justice. They are very small inside though, but that is my only criticism!
  10. Can you come and do mine. Pretty please :notworthy:
  11. Are you really giving away free Spam, I havent had it for ages!
  12. Mate - the site has JUST gone live. Give folks a chance to get some content on there, including popular links, etc! What does the CCGB offer that this forum does not already cater for bar the Sprinter mag? Not knocking, just wondering what direction you are taking after being out of action for so long.
  13. Thats what Im saying although having a harder compound pad helps braking no end.
  14. That does look ok and thankyou but I am really talking about the rear 'Corrado' one
  15. Hmmm now I dont know what to do LOL Dont suppose anyone has any pics to sway me one way or the other? :camp:
  16. I have kinda come from Evo land and nobody there would use anything else other than DS2500 or Mintex Extreme. Maybe a bit overkill for the lighter less powerful Corrado and you do have to heat them up a little more. But then again you want the best braking no matter what car it is! Defo worth a look. Think the Red stuff pad is a great compromise for the C though :salute:
  17. Well don't know if it is the same thing but mine literaly disintegrated. They dont seem to be able to cope with grooved discs at all. They eat them up and your wheels get filthy. Which aint great for a supposed low dust pad! Plus the braking was dismal. Really didnt want to touch EBC again but my mechanic convinced me the Red stuff pads were great and begrudgingly I have to agree :D Great braking with std discs, not much dust and work well from cold. I am willing to accept that the Greenstuff have maybe been improved from 3 years ago though. Let us know how you get on. Especially with your grooved EBC discs
  18. Been done this route of uprated discs to improve breaking and it just doesnt work. Back to basics and all is good in the world. Standard 280mm discs, Goodridge hoses and EBC Red stuff pads. Whatever you do DO NOT TOUCH EBC Green Stuff pads Matt
  19. No I wouldnt dont worry :D So it is an ok quality finish then ie uniformly smooth?
  20. Aqua blue thought the bright chrome front VW badge and rear Corrado badge would look quite pleasing on my fresh paint
  21. Quite expensive :gag: Any good? Is it bright chrome all over compared to the std silver and black finish? Thanks Matt
  22. I can appreciate the engineering of this. However I have run my VR with BMC without its right headlamp in and there was no noticible difference at all. In fact I am 100% sure the car runs better with a K&N panel in the std airbox. Matt P.S I dont know how having a cold air feed would help you on the rollers! :D but I can assure you there was no difference at speeds between 10 and 120mph
