Does the Focus RS run a plate dif? Test drove one here in the Peak District and the dif was a real bitch on our poorly surfaced roads. I am also after a lsd and was going to get a peloquin. This does sound good though.

Hmmm perhaps they are grey then. Looking at different pics it looks like I have the dark grey mats that would fit with the dark grey carpet in black leather specced cars. Here is pic of mine you can just make out carpet (and my ugly sis). Anyone else have any pics of grey? Out of interest what are the colour options in the 95 brochure Neil? Cheers Matt

That is what I kinda of thought m8 But I am almost 100% sure mine is lighter than grey though. I have the OE grey mats and they dont match my carpet colour at all (far too dark) :confused4: Anyone got any pics of their grey interior?

Yeah I have read plenty of his posts. Used to drive tuned Evo's so even more important to get it right then and oilman gave plenty of good advise about that. All I ever really seemed to get though was that the more it cost the better it was :wink: LOL

True so taking that into account I would really be better with a 10W 50 oil? Or would I not because the extra weight would mean it would lube so well until hot :?

Am I doing any long term damage though running the engine with oil temps over 120 when Synta silver is only good up to 120 deg. Doesnt happen that often but I do have 120+ on the MFA for periods of 45 mins plus every now and again. Oil only gets changed every 12 months but I do only 3-4k a year

Yeah I know what you are saying. Car has done 83k miles all on Synta Silver and it doesnt really use a drop. Only issues I have are high temps on the motorway ie 120 deg+ then again perhaps I should just stick to the speed limit LOL

I have some leather Recaro's in my 1995 VR6 and was wondering what colour they are? They are a light silver grey with matching leather door cards, carpets and headlining. I was told when I bought the car that the interior was quite rare and 'silver' in colour. I am asking as I got some OE grey mats and they are too dark for my interior. I have found some other mats called 'Platinum' which sound right but I cannot see any pictures of them. Anyone any idea what interior colour options there were on the later VR6's? For a complete non mechanic, is servicing my spoiler mech myself a no go, or should I be ok if I just take things slow and make note of what goes where when Im dismantling! :D
