    have fitted a g-werks G60 soild belt tensioner it has gave me about 2/3psi moor the old tensioner did need replacing the bilt is new don about 1000 mils

    its sir-post to lite the engine spin up faster whan accelerating the heary weight that sits inside the crank pulley is a harmonic balancer the pic you posted the green part looks abit defrut not suer if that is a harmonic balancer & the power steering pulley looks small i am happy with the pulley

    replaced the os window regulator one week with no door panel got on my :censored:ing nerves water leak again new flange on the said of the head & a g-werks solid tensioner need to make some spacers for it :grin:

    at the bottom of the gearbox between the oil pan &gearbox is a plat held on with 2 or 3 m6 bolts or the top of the gearbox is a blanking plug best place for setting up the crankshaft to tdc

    vw tool number is 3099 i don't think they will seal it tho i will ask my parts guy at vw on friday & you need lock the flywheel not the pulley

    if you check the 10th diget on the vin number s is 95 & t is 96

    if you ask vw they can teal you the day it wos made my wos 30 12 1991 & registration on 16 03 1992 vw go of the day it wos made not the day of registration

    i got some information form vw & it says 90 nm + 1/4 turn (90*) further bentley manual says 90 nm + 1/2 turn have don 3 g60 with no problem don to 90nm +1/4 turn i did use a small amount of thread lock mine wos don about 2 yers ago

    fitted a new timing belt on the G-lader (12mm) been putting it of for weeks & now a hose clip on the boost pipe has failed :brickwall: job for toms

    Those new pulleys look good mate - I'd be interested to know how you get on with them once you've fitted and driven with them for a while. so far so good my be better with a lighter flywheel ( on my list :grin: ) could do with a new clutch
